I honestly believe there is something to it in league play. Obviously they are not going to place everyone perfectly and good players will end up in bronze and bad i ones in Gold/Platinum, but if people play it more, it will even out.


I have definitely played better players since getting into Platinum. And consistently better.

Hmm, I've never played the TDM League Play so I can't comment on that at all. It doesn't interest me - half the BS from pubs is still there I understand....and most importantly, it's TDM.
As for 24-1, all I can say is your team must have sucked, did that happen when you were in Silver? As that would explain why you did so well and yet clearly the average level in the lobby was low (not meaning to sound condescending)

However you're basing it from (by the sounds of it) not very many games, I have played around 80 in League Season 3 from memory and will still stand by my original point. As you get to the higher ranks in Platinum, you get paired against better players
(My experience: usually in a pub-game, I'll be top 3 in the lobby if I start the game, and never bottom leader board. In league, not the case. I'm usually toward the middle/bottom in HP & CTF - although I anchor in HP and that's a sure way to prop up a leader board points-wise)

My advice, don't play with randoms. If you want to get the solo rank up, get 2 other players in your party and then go into League. Good enough that you can carry a 4th player 90% of the time, but still counts as a solo-rank ladder.

Anyone else comment on league? Or does no-one else play it?
