Peacekeeper Glitch

A pretty obvious one from what i have noticed.

You make a class with the Peacekeeper and it will remove itself or replace itself with another gun at seemingly random times.

It even does it mid-game. I get killed, respawn with the same class and find myself with just a Smaw and a Knife. Gun is pretty garbage anyway (just wanted to get all the camo) but it's still a pretty obvious glitch.

Not sure if anyone else is getting this, or i'm triggering it somehow without knowing how?

I haven't experienced this yet, and I don't think the gun is complete garbage.

This happened to me yesterday, before the content went live. I was using a Type-25, died and respawned with an M8A1, a gun which I have not unlocked on this prestige.

I experienced this glitch yesterday. I was playing in the Revolution-only rotation with the Peacekeeper, but then I switched to the normal rotation with all the maps, and my class with the Peacekeeper didn't include it; it just disappeared so I had to use my secondary. I thought maybe you couldn't use the Peacekeeper outside of Revolution-only maps (I Googled it and everything). I ended up just quitting and trying again, and then it worked fine. On a later occasion, it just switched out for the Mk 48 randomly.

Pretty annoying. Pretty annoying gun too. I hope it's the last DLC weapon they add (but it won't be).

I'm a fanboy for defending a weapon? That makes sense, idiot. And if you believe the ingame stats for any weapon on any call of duty game then you're pretty stupid for doing so.

I agree with this, ever since the map pack all I'm seeing in the majority of lobbies is the peacekeeper.

And also random question for anyone to answer, I made a new account and without even downloading the map pack I was able to play on the new maps, and when I got to level 30 or so I randomly unlocked the peacekeeper, anyone got any ideas?

The maps are on your hard drive therefor any account on that hard drive even a new one can play the maps and have the peacekeeper. As goes for any other game you have dlc for. About the random peacekeeper unlock at 30, maybe that's when you unlock it? Or do you permanently have it? I'm not sure.

The guns been out 2 days, of course everyone who has it in every lobby is using it. It's the cod community.


To the OP, I've just been having really bad connection problems and host migration issues. Probably the dlc, but it could just be the amount of people playing. Also I've lagged out a few matches and my peacekeeper class would be there. But my primary would be switched to the default gun for that number class. My perks and everything would still be set how I had them. So I think it's a common issue.

This hasn't happened to me mid-game, but it has happened each time I return to multiplayer from anything else, including Zombies.

Also, the gun is boss, bro. Easy recoil, with RIDICULOUS range. It stomps on all other SMGs in range, and even some ARs, I believe.

Maybe it just depends on personal play style then. I'll correct myself: I personally do not like this gun.

The glitch hasn't happened to me since my post so i guess it's not as common as i thought. Did notice a slight little map glitch on Hydro though. Seems to be an invisible 'roof' on some parts of the map, and i see some care packages get stuck floating in mid-air!
