MP7. Tons better than the PDW and MSMC imo. It kind of reminds me of the MP5K from the original black ops. A beast if you know how to tame it. And any real CoD player knows that K/D means almost nothing. If I restart my stats and never use any other gun but the one I prefer, never do any challenges or leave every game I start going negative, then yeah, I'll have better K/D. But this is a game, and messing around sometimes is what keeps it interesting. Shield and going specifically for headshots only to unlock camos faster is what dropped my K/D. And running around naked trying to get Cherry Blossom and Art of War camos is easy for the most part, but I'll go negative by a lot when the other team starts spamming concussions. And then there's the original day of release when I was running around not knowing what to do or knowing what gun suits me. I ended up just getting diamond SMGs before I realized that the MP7 was the best gun for me(the last gun I turned gold) and now I probably have around 10k kills with the MP7 alone. Anyway, after slowing down my gold collecting after getting prestige master, my previous 1.15 ratio has only been going up. VERY slowly might I add, because of all the deaths I have to make up for, but I have yet to hover over a certain ratio for very long before I see another .01 added.
And as for the guns, the PDW and MSMC aren't always the best guns depending on someones skill level. I've seen some people do work with the KSG. I would say THAT gun is cheaper than any other gun in the right hands. You can get a 1 hit kill headshot using a shotgun at sniper rifle range. That is cheap AF.
But anyway, I would be willing to play you sometime if you really doubt my skill that much. I don't play as much as when it first came out since I'm bored of the maps, but I should be good enough to show you I get over a 1.28 consistently.
Okay, so KD means almost nothing? So I'm in a 1v1 combat situation with someone, on my way to a flag. A good KD player wins the fight, helps the team cap the flag and they win. A bad player loses the gunfight, respawns, runs back, loses, runs back, all the while feeding streaks to the enemy (but it's okay lol, he's an objective player, he's doing his best). You see where I'm going with this? How many amazing players do you know, that have good win rates, that have a negative KD? Very few, and that's because a good KD/gunskill gets the job done. Not every high KD player is a good objective player, but most good objective players have high KDs, it's a part of clearing the enemy out, and keeping them off objectives that counts as well, not just capping flags. I have a mate who has a 3.6 KD, and a 0.38 W/L, and he dashboards the instant his KD drops below two. Is he a good player? *bleep* no, does KD mean everything? *bleep* no, but I'm a better objective player than my 1.20 KD friends, because I can defend flags longer. KD is not everything, but it does mean something.
The crutch guns of the game, the MSMC and PDW, may not be the best weapons for a good player, because guns that take skill to use, like the FAL or KSG, are much better in the hands of skilled players. My point is though, that while the MSMC and PDW aren't necessarily the best guns (try telling MP7 *bleep*s in MW3 that the MK14 and Type were better guns) they make bad players look semi decent, while a good player has no need of them, so they come off as very nooby guns.
Hey man, if you live in Australia, and play Xbox, I'd be up for that, but anywhere else and the host would just wreck :/ I don't really know if I doubt your skill persay, but I've just never seen anyone get two Lodestars in a game in TDM, your team mates would have to have been sitting in the back of the map, because if they were bad, they would have died, feeding the enemy streaks which could ruin you. I don't think I'll ever believe that game happened until I see proof, but the footage is probably conveniently long gone :/
