I can understand bitching about the hip fire spraying shit with laser sight, but to just in general bitch about the entire class makes me laugh. I will grant people that the PDW is the most over-used gun in the game, and that it is cheap a LOT of the time. I will even grant people the fact that SMG's need a SLIGHT range decrease. But I am sorry if you suck so much that I can outgun your ass when you get the drop on me with your slow ass assault rifle or LMG. I also love the kids who try to quickscope me and end up getting completely outgunned, then start bitching that I am using an SMG. Get the bleep over it. You got outgunned. For the record. Yes I do use SMG's. Yes I do have diamond camo on them, yes I am proud of that. I NEVER hip fire(sometimes it costs me, but I like to be accurate.) I am currently running the MSMC(It was the one I had performed best with after I finished camos for ALL smgs.) with the red dot sight and silencer. I can't count how many times I have spun on someone who got off the first shot and finished them because they are WAY to close for the gun they are using. Speaking from experience, the pecking order for me goes: Assault rifle will beat me at long range every time unless I feather the trigger and they don't see me. Medium range, It is normally dead even, and depends souly on who saw who first. Short Range. Yeah that rifle isn't an SMG, back up, I win 90% of the gun fights I get in at this range against assault rifles. Sniper Long range. I lose, 99% of the time. Every once in a while I can gun down someone who isn't paying enough attention. Again I have to feather the trigger though. Medium range. I win most of the time, unless it is someone who is runniing iron sights or acog scope, which even then it is roughly 50/50. Short range, like medium range, just 90/10. LMG Long range. Unless I spot them first and they don't see me, I am usually bleeped. Medium range. If they see me first, I'm bleeped. If I see them first, I win..... If they see me at the same time, I'm bleeped. Short range. See medium range. Shotgun Long range. 99% of the time I will win, unless I am zoning out and they get 3-4 shots on me and put me down. Medium range. If they spot me first, I am usually on the bad end of a quick nap on the ground. If I spot them, I can take them out easily. Short range. I can ONLY win this if the other person hasn't seen me. Shotguns at short range wreck my face. SMG's have ALREADY been nerfed, and will most likely(Due to the whining quickscopers or the special needs assault rifle rushers) will be nerfed again. Personally I am sick of all the flak I get for out-gunning someone who is foolish enough to be sticking close quarters with snipers/assault rifles. You can blame SMG's for how much you die all you want, but when it comes down to it it is almost ALWAYS the person behind the gun beating you. I'm not saying I am some CoD god... I think my K/D is hovering around 1.18 atm, which blows compared to A LOT of people I know. My SPM is around 300 something, which sucks, but I have been focusing on playing Dom lately and capping as much as possible, along with defending b when we have it(NEVER TRIP CAP YOU MORONS! lol I hate people who do that shit). I am just stating that if you are so pissy over someone out gunning you within their guns range of effectiveness(not to mention even closer to the guns maximum effective range) then you clearly have no way how this game is suppose to work. It's like Rock, Paper, Scissors... Just SMG/LMG/Assault Rifle/Sniper/Shotgun. Different ranges and situations bring different results. I am going to continue to play this CoD because it offers the most replay value to me. It has camo challenges, incentive to use all the guns in the class of your choice(think I am going for the special items next, just for a change of pace, although I might go LMG or shotgun) and the game doesn't reset your challenges when you prestige which I love as I worked too hard to finish off the challenges I have done and I would love to keep gaining levels. ------------------- I'll teach your Grandmother to Suck Eggs!

These are the sorts of things you know if you play the game for more than a day. what you on about am talking previous call of duties, i know ghost only works if your moving which is a nerf and i also know you dont get it till lv55. my one day having the game most likly translate to you having the game for a week. this is the moan thread so you dont have to analyse and discuss why i hate the game, it just is and thats that. I thought you were saying other Call of Dutys were better than this, and that there were headglitches and campers in this game, whereas in the other games it was much worse, silly me. 	The argument about assault rifles beating SMGs at medium range is simply wrong. SMGs are more than capable of beating ARs at medium range. It happens all the time, and I run Toughness almost exclusively. It's because they have a high rate of fire, and coupled with CoD's piss-easy-to-manage-recoil and the fact that weapons fire lasers instead of bullets. Plus, there's that goddamn stupid little wiggle-dance that people do that make them magically immune to every other bullet. You also have to take into a account that every map except for Turbine and Carrier is set up for CQB, so SMGs dominate. ------------------- I'm the guy that consistently goes negative. What pisses me off personally (I respect your opinion) is when I'm outgunned by an SMG outside their effective range, just because the guy has a higher rate of fire, he can shoot 30 (or god bleeping forgive 50) bullets in the time it takes me to shoot about 5 precision, on target rounds, and the game decides to award that kid despite his chronic lack of accuracy. I have what I consider to be very good accuracy, over 20% with each gun I use more than once, even SMGs, but this game is constantly giving the kill to the guy who took 30 bullets and hit me with 3. I'm all for SMGs beating me at close range, close range engagements are impossible to avoid unless you're camping, but when they take me on at far ranges they're not playing to the gun's strength, and it's kind of laziness on their part to not flank or push to the point where they're close enough to me. Everyone whinges about quickscopers at close range, what about SMGs at long range? 	I honestly never understood the idea that AR's were terrible at Medium range. I usually use the AN-94, FAL, or Type 25 and I can ruin people with SMG's at that range. Quickdraw and Adjustable stock help, although you don't need them. ------------------- I'll be your sweetheart~

People use that wiggle dance with every gun, it is just more noticeable with SMG's because of the mobility factor.... That and SMG's are the most used class of gun in the game. IUSEthePM-9 I can respect that. I hate it when that happens to me as well, from SMG users and other gun class users alike. But that comes down to hit detection, hit boxes, pick your Lag issue choice, or just bad luck, not the strength of the gun. The environment in which the gun is to blame, not the gun itself. I fully understand though. I have had moments where I put a full clip out of a chicom or MSMC and not killed the person, yet they no scope at me, miss, and I die from the bleeping hitbox taking the shot a foot above my left shoulder. ------------------- I'll teach your Grandmother to Suck Eggs!

	Quickdraw just gives my SMG mobility with Assault Rifles. I mean, you don't -have- to run it but it helps if you are just poor with strafing. Any gun in this game can beat another. It depends on the circumstances you're placed in. What variables are being affected. You're gonna get outgunned at certain ranges every now and then and even more if you're just poor at the game. My advice is to quick bitching and play smart. Most people running SMGs are brainless twits who just spray. Don't rush head first into battle with an AR. 	I mostly agree with oni_hero's post. There would be no use to SMG's if they were on par with assault rifles, as they have been in some CoD titles in the past. See Black Ops 1, assault rifles were totally dominant and SMG's were pretty much redundant. If you want overpowered SMG's, go play World at War. Spot the bleeping difference. To me, MW3 and BO2 got the right balance.

	The Stock is much more helpful than the Quickdraw handle to me when it comes to ARs vs SMGs, especially at a close range. To me it doesn't really matter who aims down first, its more about being able to maneuver when you're locked in a face range battle. Hit-boxes bother me alot, because I when I aim for the head half of the time somehow it doesn't count as a headshot (which was a pain going for camos). Then there are the kills when the guy running with the SMG aims for my chest and shoulder, which CoD considers where the human brain is located. I'm already a complete SMG hater, but I know losing close-range battles is completely logical. Does anyone else hate losing to a person that stops moving completely to shoot, I don't even know how it happens to me, but it just does. ------------------- Why make Trillions when we can make.....Billions

Statistically it takes like 4 or 5 bullets to kills at medium-long and long ranges with any SMG. Probably more, but point is if you're getting killed by SMG's at long range then you're doing something very wrong.

	Bout the Peacekeeper... It's a SMG and Assault rifle hybrid so when you got the DLC what category is the Peacekeeper gonna be at? The SMG or assault rifle or is there gonna be a new category for DLC weapons? I put stock on my SMG and I dont feel much difference on it though. Putting it on LMG or Assault rifle makes a big change for me -------------------

With the lag, a player can put 4 bullets into you before you realise your getting hit, then when you do realise you move behind cover and then die. Killcam is up, and he killed you before you even moved. So from long range when you feel you've been hit, he's already shot the last couple of bullets that will finish you off. Jesus the other day i got sniped at from behind, turned shot half a clip into the guy then died. Reverse time to the fact i was already dead from the first shot If your a good player plenty of your deaths will be due to the fact you have no idea your even getting hit till your dead. ------------------- "Pump up the AC" "The what?"
