AN-94

Never actually used this myself personally, but seen/hear of people doing well with it, just wondering what peoples opinions are on it and whether it's worth an unlock token or not? And a class set up for it would be nice too. Thanks.

It's not that game breaking in objective modes, because explosive spam is so bad. May be pretty good in FFA and TDM though.

However in my personal opinion, I could see Flak Jacket and Ghost ran together as being pretty god mode.

AN-94 is good. Good power and manageable recoil, and it also kills people. I'm thinking about unlocking it for the sole fact you can't use it until level 55, so it's not getting a lot of attention. The M8 is good, really good in some cases but then again some people don't like burst fire, and don't want to grind it out for select fire.

I just hit level 55 again last night. Been running QuickDraw handle and fast mags on the AN-94. I usually run fast mags on almost all my classes though, and the iron sights aren't bad so I don't really see any need for a reflex or anything. Might swap the quickdraw handle for a grip or stock when I unlock them.

I've only used it for a few games but I really enjoyed using the gun. I've only prestiged once and I used the unlock token on Ghost but when I hit second I am going to unlock either the AN-94 or the M8A1.

It's a good gun, I have it gold and have the most kills with it out of all the weapons I've used, but the select-fire rifles with the select-fire attachment do everything it does, only better.


To accurately hit someone at medium-long range, you need to trigger-tap, but the select-fire semi-auto's have nowhere near as much recoil and kill in less shots at all ranges.

At close range, you're going to lose to every other gun in the game, especially the SMG's, because of it's fire rate.



Even where the gun's meant to excel, at medium range, it gets smacked by guns with 55 damage (semi-auto rifles) or guns with faster fire rates.
