I've tried boy have I tried but it's official, god this game is awful.

Free for all spawns are a joke for starters.. too many points to pick up on. Rehash of MW3 which was shocking bad also.

I give up. Back to BLOPS 1.

Edit: I should add in all fairness I'm absolutely terrible at this game. I'm getting owned like a bitch. I think I'm getting a bit too old for the fast paced games, BLOPS1 is more of my kind of game!

I'm in the same boat man, except my K/D's about the same as it was in past CoD games, 1.75-1.8.

Part of it is because the maps and spawns suck.

People whinged that there wasn't enough action, so now we have it. There's constant action, and it's a cluster *bleep*. I just wish the people would learn to be patient and play the game with some brains.

Sure, there's a high and adrenaline that comes from killing someone, even more so when you get a double or a triple or go on an elongated streak. The problem is, there should be highs AND lows. Without time to come down from that high everything is just a blur.

You need highs and lows in a match and having my heart in my throat constantly and having to turn around every time I kill someone because the maps are tiny and spawns erratic is not fun.

Some people say to just learn the maps. Learning the maps does little when I kill three people and before the next sweep of the UAV they've spawned behind me, taken three steps and shot me in the ass.


This will be my last CoD game. If even the hardcore CoD players aren't even smart enough to realise that the "I HAVE ADD I WANT ACTION NAO" mentality is retarded, there's little point in playing it year after year.


This game has zero pacing. Zero. It's just a giant blur of Spawn, Kill, Die, Spawn, Kill, Die, Spawn, Kill, Die, Spawn, Die, Spawn, Kill, Kill, Die.



I'm going back to CoD4, I should have never left it in the first place.

I just got home from work, it's 5am, we got killed tonight, I lost count of the amount of cocktails, vodka redbulls and vodka raspberry's I made tongiht and I'm absolutely *bleep*ed so I may not make any sense, but here goes.


IUSEthePM-9, it's not the fact I don't have patience for the game. Hell, the series peaked for me at CoD4 and here I am 5 games later, still having thoroughly played them all, and each time hoping for another CoD4.

I've just finally come to the conclusion that the game I want will never come to fruition and the closest I'm going to get IS CoD4. There's little point pumping more money into Activision waiting for another CoD4 when I can just play CoD4.

The view point that there won't be another magic CoD like CoD4 has been cemented by Black Ops 2. They've gone from just pandering to nubs in MW2, to Treyarch righting it in Black Ops, to the pandering to nubs being a core part of the game in MW3 (lack of pacing), and finally Treyarch embracing the lack of pacing and tiny maps from MW3 in Black Ops 2.



I've always fought against CoD being called a twitch-shooter, because it was fast paced, yes, but a lot of the game was brains. MW3 CoD onwards is the definition of a twitch shooter and the franchise isn't going to change from this formula any time soon.



I don't mind forgiving a game of it's faults is the core of the game is something I love. CoD4 had it's problems, Frag x3 being the biggest, but at its heart, I loved it. The CoD games have steadily moved away from that core premise. There was a glimmer of hope in Black Ops, but it's been snuffed out. At it's core, CoD now has zero pacing and is as far away from CoD4 as it's ever been.

This is the reason this will be my last CoD game, I was counting on Treyarch to pull back from the bullshit like they did in Black Ops, but they've just embraced it in Black Ops 2. Nothing IW, Sledgehammer, or Raven can or will do will interest me in the slightest and the only thing that will get me to buy another CoD game is a 'Modern Warfare Anniversary', i.e. a re-release of CoD4 with host migration.

I, and I'm sure many others wish they would just revamp cod4 like yourself. But I've been saying it since mw2 and havnt seen any sign of it ever happening.

On the other hand I'm not going to play this game without a party, there's no point. Unless I can tell my teammates to not push spawns, I'm *bleep*ed. But I really enjoy this game when in a party.


Also back on the cod4 thing. I played not that long ago, and pulling out 3 choppers a match in TDM, EVERY match isn't that satisfying anymore.. Personally it was boring. It's my favorite cod, but damn were things simple back then.


I say they should use this cod elite bullshit and give players a choice to add in previous maps from ANY other cod game. It would bring cod as a series back to life.

Same thing happens to me apparently it seems that this happens more often to PS3 then Xbox 360
