Is that really a problem in all honesty? Get better or get trapped, it's really not that bad. I think we've all just becoming used to MW3 pandering to terrible players. The spawns were inconsistent on MW3, I say make spanwtrapping possible, maybe not easy, and then make people learn.

They did check it and they left it in because spawn trapping is a tactic in Domination. It was in CoD4, WaW, MW2 and BO the only one that didn't have it was MW3 but only because their maps were such a retarded mess that spawn trapping was impossible. Treyarch this time have gone back to the CoD4 style of map design which allows spawn trapping to work again. It's not all that hard to get out of a spawn trap you just have to play it slowly and wait for some noob to rush your spawn allowing it to flip. Yes you are screwed if you are playing a team that knows how to spawn trap but in public lobbies there are always a few kids oblivious to what is happening that will rush spawn.

How has the game stacked up sales wise ? Anyone know or is it too early to see accurate figures yet?

Too early to tell right now though most stores were stating that Black Ops 2 had a 400% higher pre-order rate than Modern Warfare 3 and that game is the best selling game of all time, it sold like 14 million copies in a week. I'm thinking it's more a case of Halo 4 being out and Modern Warfare 3 not being all that great which is why your friends list isn't bothered playing it again, I'm guessing all of them tomorrow will be on Black Ops 2 though.

Spawn trapping is fine if it's not directly when and where you spawn. The only time it was funny (but still annoying) to me was on Shipment and it wasn't so hard to break out of.
