Same old same old...

Hey guys,

Recently been watching some multiplayer vids on youtube and i gotta say this cod looks like the same old same old?

From what i've seen maps are a major cluster F%$^, there is a gun sight that highlights enemies, knifing now isn't an insta kill (if the knifing wasn't bad enough).

The bloke i was watching was hipfiring dudes from 30 metres away with an mp7 and dropping them instantly.

I mean seriously i'm sure there are good things about this game, like i loved black ops but this one seems like its just gonna be another rage filled camp fest...

I still like the tac knifing on MW2 i think its just another way to play, just like quickscoping and takes as much skill to get good at and know which lines to run. Instead with the knifing not being insta-kill it basically takes knifing out of the game seeing as though spinning and hipfire spraying will be more effective. Is there a point to knife someone u walk up behind when it will be quicker to just shoot him? This is all based on how fast you swing the knife of course. I'm guessing there is an attachment or perk to counter the negatives? I don't know but the days of rushers are seemingly almost over....

I like what you said about the sight though, if it ain't too overpowered but i still think people will find a way to exploit it into their camping schemes.

Well, in my opinion, bullets > knife every time.
Anything to make it so someone can't "panic knife" me if I'm actively shooting at them is good in my book.
But in Black Ops II, you can still do the sup3r l33t OnlyUseMyBlade-wannabe thing with the combat knife, which is an equip-able weapon that I do believe is a OHK.

But for me, even in past CoDs, I'll always shoot someone even if I sneak up behind them.

I'm guessing you mean...when you CAN just sit back...Bro you mad again? You seem like one of those guys that didn't play MW2 because he kept getting commando pro knifed. And stuck to being a bush wookie in black ops. Your post once again lacks anything constructive at all.

As for the rushing aspect. Correct me if i'm wrong but rushing has gotten harder and harder to do while camping seems to be getting easier. I think its time to bring back some aspects for rushers (such as stalker pro) and these things. But from what i've read all you lot seem to hate that perk for some reason...

From what I've seen in the multiplayer vids, sniping still seems to be more effective than SMG's at close range.

Realistically, yes. A projectile is at it's most powerful the moment it leaves the muzzle of the firearm, from then on in, the stopping power is always diminishing. But from a game balance point of view? No, it shouldn't.

At the end of the day, in a tight space, say on a bus or something, who is going to be able to draw their weapon up first and acquire their target and pull the trigger and hit it? Someone carrying a 14kg sniper rifle that is the best part of a meter and a half long, or someone with a PDW that only ways 3kg and is only 50cm long? So even from that point of view, quickscoping still seems unbalanced/unfair etc etc blah blah blah.
