Snipers No Aim Assist?

	Log in to remove this advertisement Now I'm sure you have all heard that snipers will now be nerfed with no aim assist in BO2 rather than the scope sway that basically prevented you to shoot for a fraction of a second when you first scoped in. My question is, will aim assist be completely non existent w snipers? Or will aim assist just not be active until a second after u have already scoped in?

	The sniper rifles have aim assist 100% of the time. This is info that has been coming out from an internal play test yesterday, the guy that leaked the news was the YouTuber Hutch who was invited to play the game for 8 hours yesterday.. 	I never really played CoD 4, but I'm guessing sniping on that game is similar to WaW? Anyways it sounds pretty promising. From the first sniping vid I saw it seemed like it was going to be on the same level of easiness as MW2, thank bleep it's not.

I'm still not convinced that sniping can recover from the shit-storm that is quickscoping. The heavy nerf in the early months of Black Ops was needed to turn the retards off the sniper rifles all together. Only people who stuck with the snipers in Black Ops were people who sniped in CoD4. Zero, I'm the opposite. I played CoD4 heavily, but not WaW. In fact, I played CoD4 until 2 months before Black Ops came out, when a mate convinced me to get the pile of shit that is MW2. (I apologise if anything I just said makes zero sense. It's 5am, I just got off work.) -------------------

	Elpresador is the shit, pimpin! But anyway sniping wasn't that bad in Blops, I still get consistently quickscoped from good players. But imo they should do what Halo did, have a snipers only lobby that way everyone who likes to quickscope, hardscope, and whatever else there is can do it to their hearts content. 	Just a thought though but as weapon bullet damage is weaker, and more bullets needed to kill someone, surely snipers will still be good since they'll most likely kill waist up ish. :\| And fr what it's worth, sniping in World at War was easy.

The snipers' damage is seen in that site that boyd showed us Two of them will be semi automatic- one is headshot kill only one can kill to the chest (in one shot) Two are bolt, the DSR will be stomach up and the Ballista is still to the chest (but handles way better than the rest) I have never played WaW so take from this what you will quote HU1CH13 make shotguns a viable option. I strongly disagree, shotguns were always viable in any game other than COD4 (W1200 was trash) Sure, there was always one that was better than the rest (the spammable ones- Striker, Spas-12, Striker) The shotguns would always beat quickscopers in quickscoping range and they always will.

Thing is though, in BO1, there was days when the Stakeout for me did feel like the MW2 SPAS and days like it didn't. At least in MW3 the shotguns for the most part were pretty shitty so you knew what to expect. I'll wait until the game goes public before I make any ideas of how the weapons are going to be like. No Blackomega34, shotguns have never been a viable option except for the SPAS in MW2. Not going to even bother with the spammable Striker in MW2 and the SPAS in BO1. -------------------
