There was a time when levelling wasn't a thing and people played competitive FPS because it was fun, not to earn some pointless level. To me the sign of a good game is one that you can play for months and months without the need of levelling, rewards and unlocks, games like Counter-Strike where every gun is unlocked and you just play for the fun of playing it.. The problem is, you have to be good to buy any of the good guns (such as M4 or the AK47, or the Deagle). The better you are, the more money you get to spend. Black Ops somewhat followed that idea with CoD Points. Though it's somewhat harder to get money in Counter-Strike, $200 per kill, $2000 for losing, $4000 for winning, and more. Counter-Strike is actually very competitive if you're playing Demolition or Classic, which probably is why it's one of the 3 games for most PC gaming championships (next to LoL/DotA and SC2). 	I hope you have to spend extra for your OHK knife and deathstreak, like 3 or 4 points. And I hope there isn't a godly stealth perk that hides you from UAV and the X-Ray Scope. Lastly, I hope if you get the accolade "Least distance moved" in the last game that you only get 8 points for your Custom Classes next match ------------------- My First Neoseeker Post And Other, Less Manly Stuff

You will probably still have to unlock everything before you can use them in your class... Anyway, I find this great news! Finally, they're changing up the old stale routine and giving us something new. MW3 had some good additions, but in the end it was just MW2 with new maps. 	This sounds pretty good, although it might have been better if you were given more points, and then things were more expensive, that way differences in weapons, etc would be greater and so it might be more balanced. But maybe not. Either way, if possible i'll definitely be spending all 10 points on frags. -------------------

	So, a weight system? Good for them but this is nothing new tbh, I can see prestiging = more "points" as well. Or perhaps levelling in general to keep incentive. I know games have done that before, even Max Payne 3 recently. It MAY add more variety to the game, but I can see someone figuring out a class that'll just tank everything again. Like the last 2 games. ------------------- I will be here after dark, under streetlights.
