To those who disliked Black Ops...

Why did you?

Just wondering why some people prefer the cluster *bleep* bullshit that they call MW2 and MW3 over Black Ops. Personally I'd play Black Ops over those two. But I was talking to PhoenixBlue about this. He brought up all its flaws which I agreed with:

Poor weapon balance, FAMAS, 74u all powerful etc
Poor hit detection/connection
Second chance
Ghost
RCXD

etc

But despite agreeing with him on the flaws, he said he's prefer to get dead mans handed whilst I would rather get killed by an RC car and similar.

Just wondering why you lot all dislike Black Ops? What made you dislike it?

It definitely has its flaws but there are reasons youtubers like xcal and legend of thunder have gone back to playing it and giving up MW3

Because Black Ops itself is by far a perfect game or really a decent game as that, but MW3 is that shit and MW2 is now that *bleep*ed up and unplayable that comparing Black Ops to them actually makes it look like a decent game.

Please explain to me how SMG's were better than AR's at close range without having to waste attachments such as rapid fire and extended mags on them? Also, what sort of strength has the Commando and AK-47 got over the FAMAS and AUG?

Strip the bullshit out of both BO and MW3 and I feel that MW3 is the better game by far.

Edit: I hated Ghost but I'm glad it's easy to get Assassin Pro. It's their fault for making the bullshit Support Streaks and making EMP's and the UAV/CUAV spam just far too much beyond a joke. If it's easy to get and powerful, I want an easy to get and powerful counter.

I never said they were better, just that they were good close up. Most of the time when I played, if anyone got close to me with an SMG, I somehow died first even if we shot at the same time, and with Steady Aim Pro. But thats a different problem. The only SMG I frequently used with rapid fire was the 74u, because the attachment made my aim crappier on any other gun, plus it had a grip which made things better to use rapid fire with. I do agree with your point when it comes to the AR's, I do feel that the AUG was better than the Ak-47 and the Commando, but I've never really paid attention to it because I was worried about the FAMAS and 74u being overused at the time.

I do want to know what was wrong with the hit detection, I've heard about it about twice, but I still didn't understand. Is there a way you can explain it so I can at least get some clue?

Surprisingly I don't see alot of people using players using the support classes, only occasionally but that's for mostly Stealth Bombers.
I just hope that when BO II comes out, there won't be as many problems like in the previous games. I don't plan on getting any more CoD games after BO II, I've only owned MW3 and Black Ops, and played alot of MW2. So when it comes to the huge technical issues, I'm not completely aware of them. Just the ones that happen alot.

The currency bothered me alot, because I hate having to spend 50,000 CoD points for gold camo. Then have to get to 50,000 more. I have a feeling Treyarch is gonna bring it back >.<

DISCLAIMER: These are just my PERSONAL opinions. I am not putting these comments forward as hard fact. You may disagree and that’s no problemo, but let’s not be dicks about it. Also, i'd probably have a list just as long for MW3. Not MW2 though, i LOVE that game even with its many problems.

Anyway;

- Poor weapons, not just balance, just poor weapons in general. Spas-12 and FN FAL excluded. The guns all felt kind of tinny and a bit rubbish compared to other cod titles. They mostly lacked a certain "feel" and quality.

- Terrible, awful, monumentally bad hit detection. Pointless playing sometimes. Spray and pray every time. People said it was patched but I was long bored by then. The kill cams were often frustrating yet hilarious.

- The worst spawns in any COD game, until MW3 came along and was just as bad. Again folk said it was patched, how about just making a game which works first time? I was well bored by the time it was apparently fixed.

- Some of the worst maps in any COD games. DLC didn’t help.

- Non stacking kill streaks. Not too bothered either way really but it just seemed to cause more, not less camping.

- Horrendous game play brought about by the combination of "ghost" and "blackbird". 12 guys all camping for blackbirds then whoever gets the first one leads onto their team getting another one, and another, and another. Easy win. Most boring and tedious game play in any COD game yet for me.

- Zombies just got plain stupid. Lost any sense of horror it had in the original map. Nixon and JFK... Jesus. Actually, surprised Jesus wasn’t in it.

- I utterly despised the cold war setting and irritating story "The numbers, THE NUMBERS" Awww f**k off pal. Gimme a break. I think Treyarch watch too much "24". The campaign was just plain terrible.

- Hated the money system. 5 games into a prestige and I had everything I needed. Removed the point of ranking up for me. Added to the seemingly endless boredom. How anyone struggled with cash is beyond me.

- I cant properly express just how much I hated the makeup, at first it seemed like a good idea with Rambo style jungle streaks and such, but the first time I seen the joker from batman or the medieval jester I nearly threw up with disgust. Stupid.

- Pink smilie happy face reticules on tiger stripe guns with a picture of a dong on them... yeah, sort of removed me from the game a little concentration wise. I found it hard to focus with that kind of crap running around.

- Way overly nerfed explosives. Nerf the noob tube and claymores fine, but leave my RPG's alone you bastards, there’s already a bloody blast shield. Looks really stupid landing an anti-tank rocket 1ft from a guys testicles and seeing him just stand there, again removed me from the game a little.

- RC-XD, i never got hit by them much, but boy were they stupid.

Things i did like:

Napalm = Awesome
FN FAL = Awesome
SPAS-12 = Awesome
Stats = Awesome
Masterkey = Awesome
Emblems = Awesome (Apart from dongs and horses shagging gorillas)
