K/D

So anyone else hear that K/D will NO LONGER be impacted when playing ANY objective game.

Now I have a reason to respect TreyArch.

I personally would like to say thank you to TA for finally shit kicking all the F**k-tard K/D-obsessive noobs *bleep*ing up my objective games, cuz they are so damn insecure about a damn stat that will inevitably be reset when the next game comes out.

I might like this game now, just for this reason.

Cool, now hopefully I can play Dom and Dem in peace.

Well apparently no matter how many kills you get in an objective game it won't count towards your kd. I think.

Won't deter people simple as. Majority of the community would rather go 50-0 in Obj. Modes with 2500 score, than 25-10 and 3000 score from playing the objective. Doesn't matter that it won't affect their overall kd, people will still play for kills, as they find it more enjoyable.

I don't see how it'll fix the problem. Are you saying that because it doesn't count towards k/d, people won't play domination / demolition any more? I don't think it's the fact that you can show off your crappy stats, but the fact you can get kills easier, and the spawns are more predictable.

It discourages some people, but people will still continue to play Domination for easy kills. It's really just how the mode plays rather than the winnings you get from it.

I think you lot are fooling yourselves into believeing that the problems with the community come down to K/D. Life aint really that simple.

Think about it, most kids who do camp couldnt give a shit about K/D, they will gladly return to the same camp spots and die 5 times over for each kill. They simply dont care.

The reason people camp for kills in objective modes is that these modes are fifty times easier than TDM. Its that simple. As long as objective mode is easier, there will be talentless no-hopers just in it for the kill as they get their arses smacked all day in TDM. Y'all can rub baby oil into Treyarchs arse crack all you want, that wont change.

It will deter SOME people, but yes not all of them. Like I said at least they are trying something different. A small attempt is better than no attempt.
