Your thoughts? You do realize that MW wasn`t the first CoD game right? And you also must realize that there are different time periods in this game? But I do think the game is descending from glory. I by no means am a CoD hater. I think the games are fun, although they are by no means my favourite. Activison is just milking the series. CoD3/4 wasn't the first CoD games that got us all into it in the first place, some people only got into CoD since BO or maybe even MW3 and thus have just settled into the serious and everything is all fun and fresh to them. Not to mention the fact every year people are getting older so their parents will allow them to play those sort of games or buy/pre-order them themselves. Just because veteran fans of the series like us are getting sick of it all now and had enough, doesn't mean new people aren't discovering the game and will buy the game by the shit tonne and won't break record sales. Haven't you seen the news? BO2 is already on track for braking records as far as pre-orders go, so yeah, don't really see that statement being true. Look at what everyone was saying when BO came out yet look what happened? MW3 absolutely stuffed that record tightly into their c*nts and ended up being the biggest entertainment release of all time. ------------------- jbh is a twat.

In fact, when Black Ops came out, I predicted that the sales were going to go down in about 3 years. I just don`t see how this can get any bigger. Almost everyone I know, knows about CoD. There doesnt seem to be much bigger of an audience to attract. -------------------

	Alright, people stop saying that there are horses in the future. There isn't. The horses are going to be in the 1986 flashbacks when you play as Alex Mason. Plus I have high hopes that this Call of Duty will bring the series out of the gutter its been in for a while. I'm looking forward to the campaign and most definitely zombies, but I'm curious to see how they'll make the multiplayer work.

Just to add to that.. Not enough long term players are leaving it in any sizeable capacity, it leads to a scenario where the game is steadily growing.

	The thing is, being honest, the population of this forum is the more hardcore of COD players. Those who are interested/enjoy (if that's the right word) the series enough to go online and talk about it with people they often don't know. Activision caters to the occasional players rather than the die hard fans, and there in lies the problem. As long as the majority of people who play the game maybe twice a week don't suffer the same amount of BS as the more hardcore popularity, the game will continue to sell As for the downfall of the COD series, I just don't see it. Battlefield 3 was meant to be the COD killer. Wasn't a Halo being mentioned as a killer at some point. Now Halo 4 is being touted to rival it. And there's always a passing craze of a MoH or Homefront. But none of these games even come close to impacting COD in any way that would affect the success. I can see one realistic manner in which COD could fail, and I bet many people haven't thought about it .... .......... ................... .......... .... Respawn Entertainment - aka: Vince Zampella & Jason West company when they left IW. These are the guys that made COD4, and they are meant to be working on an FPS (although very few details) and if anyone can blow a game out of the water, it's these guys. If they have the budget.

	The problem with a game like this is, the basic fundamental mechanics of the game stay the same. (because lets face it, it works.) But all they can really do is polish it up a bit, add some different weapons/maps and whatever gay gimmick catches them this particular year... I Respect the different approaches, even if it doesn't always work out. The gameplay will never be massively changed though - unless it goes battlefield style or something. (you know big huge maps, destructable shit and vehicles etc) Can't see that happening though! -------------------
