What I would expect for the sequel on the PS4

One thing they absolutely would need to improve is character balance. I've said this before:

character diversity and character balance are not the same. Contrary to scrubs who
main top tier spam characters. I know it's near-impossible to make every aspect of the game balanced, but I'd like to see them try a little harder. Some characters are severely handicapped, whereas others are just flatout broken.

Aside from that major but necessary change, I would like to see more:

• Stages: One for every character's game

• More game modes: Deathmatch; 1v1; Tag-team etc.

• Fix the throw mechanics, maybe give us a way to tech out of the throw? It's pretty cheap when you can't block, dodge, or crouch to avoid a throw.

• A system where we obtain points and have to use them to unlock characters, costumes etc.

• Perhaps tweak the whole 'AP and Super' system. I really like it, but they could keep it, while applying simple changes, for example:

Make it harder to gain AP; more reliant upon combos.

Make certain characters good at one thing. Example, make Raiden good at building AP or landing supers, not both. It's understandable to have a character whom is well-rounded, but not unreasonably so. I mean, Raiden has counter, link off of several attacks, link off throws, has great AP building capability, not-too-shabby supers, that doesn't sound broken? Really? And we have Big Daddy with his ridiculous hitbox and overall low potential. This all ties into character balance.

Make it harder to run away and camp; limit movement for all characters.

Reward patient playstyles, for example, grant an AP bonus to someone who continuously
blocks successfully. This could relieve some pressure from spam players, as they would need
to change their playstyle to keep enemies from getting that bonus.

Essentially add mixups to the game, I mean, what's the point of crouching in the current game? Exactly

Also go play SSB if you want to play a game with ring outs.

Here's my idea. Rather than using AP to build up a super attack, AP should be used to build up a sort of power meter that increases the amount of damage a character does. This will encourage people to get in the fight instead of running away like a coward, because your AP would decrease over time. Characters would have a large amount of HP, and they'll need to build up there power meter to do any significant damage.

An Adventure mode, like the ones they have in the SSB game and ring outs, as already mentioned.

Although, maybe they should include in option for ring outs, so that you can also play the game like the first one.
