I know, i felt pretty cheap doing it but it was pretty much the only way i could get hits I still came last, except for one game where i came second. I wish you could do the tutorial with any character so that you can learn their moves

I've definitely improved, have won a few games now and can somewhat hold my own in melee (as Radec). Still don't know all of his moves well but i'm using quite a wide variety now and it's pretty awesome nailing someone with the arc lightning of his, since that's a particularly difficult one.

His level 2 and 3 supers are pretty great, not sure about his level 1 though since i always get blocked trying to use it

Music has always been the most important criteria of a successfull videogame, at least IMO.

For inducing nostalgia/memorability yeah However i'd rather have shit music with amazing gameplay than shit gameplay with amazing music haha.

Don't think there will be anything like Subspace Emissary, lol. But I think there is a story kind of thing, and they paired some people up as rivals and stuff. Example: Heihachi and Toro:



Soooo I think there is a story mode where it could be teamed battles or just 1v1. Also Toro has attributes of Ryu from Street Fighter and had the Hadouken in some game, so yeah. They're both fighters so it makes sense.

It would be cool to do something like Subspace Emissary, but the only real awesome thing about Subspace Emissary was the cut scenes and boss battles honestly. Once you beat it once, it kind of wasn't worth it or fun to go through it again other than to unlock Wolf and etc, lol. Subspace Emissary honestly wasn't that amazing once you beat it and looked into it, the CUT SCENES is what made it awesome. The gameplay of it was kind of annoying sometimes. The boss battles and stuff were cool/really fun too like I already said. I dunno it's REALLY great going through it once...then it was kind of like "lolnope" to me.

I love music and all, but I agree with Agent Mo. Amazing gameplay > amazing music. If the music is decent that's enough with amazing gameplay sometimes. But yes, both need to be amazing and I hope you can choose before you play and stuff/change it. It changing randomly wouldn't hurt online with randoms, but a vote thing for music and maps would be cool. I don't know why they wouldn't have the whole voting for maps thing anyways though, lol. There better be DLC soundtracks too, and songs from classic PlayStation games.

But yeah just because it's like Smash Bros. a bit I don't want them to copy everything. Even though when you play the game it's nothing like Smash Bros. at all really, both played really different. The fighting is probably 5% the same as Smash Bros.. I really don't want a Subspace Emissary kind of thing for All-Stars lol, they need to do their own thing.

Cool cutscenes and stuff would be cool but I think it's just going to be you fight 1 on 1 with people in the story and get past everyone until you get to your "rival" they gave you in this game. Which doesn't mean there won't be cool cutscenes like the Heihachi vs. Toro one though! I just don't think they made a story mode really different like Subspace Emissary. We might of found that out already anyways too, but we'll see! Some stuff are secrets until you actually get the game/it is out.

Something like Subspace Emissary could be cool, but not exactly like it. I dunno. ~
