How do you build meter with Parappa efficiently anyways? I know that his Neutral Square has insane priority but when I play free for all it always gets interrupted by someone, the same applies to Air Down Square. Literally nothing gets built if you only get the rapid punches in. I really think I'm doing something wrong here because I see the other Parappas I've been playing getting really good meter. Should I only take on isolated targets or something? I tried practicing with him in the flesh online but it never really went my way. Teach me, man.

But yeah, my friend and I have been 2v2ing pretty recently too, and we got a few tactics/tricks up our sleeves.



I think my friend and I played you guys on Friday or something, because I recall a Parappa/Radec team wrecking us horribly when we had little team coordination going for my friend and I. If so, ggs to you because it taught my friend not to save up for a level 3 in 2v2 xD

This is only the beta of the game. Im sure youll be able to play offline and with controllers when the game comes out.

I'm kind of iffy about the super public beta now, because now there will be ten times the Kratos and Radecs, but maybe there will be other characters you barely saw like Sly and Fat Princess now! I guess I should get used to the amount of people there are on it now instead of when the real game comes out. I like teams but FFA is kind of meh, teams is better because it's easier to combo one guy and stuff instead of three people attacking each other in one corner. Team combos are always amazing too. I'll probably play FFA in the real game sometimes, but we need more characters.

I told you I 6-0d them! They were terrible. Anyways, yeah you and I need to do teams again soon to beat a lot of the newbies, we can do that annoying Radec team again too, lol.

Mrblikey: You just have to hit people with those punches a lot, and when you can get meter from your boombox. Also yeah, getting killed/hit by supers makes your meter go down a lot, and when you get hit by stage hazards. Also about Kratos and Radec, you can roll away from their level 3 supers easily sometimes, because I dodged a level three super from a Krato yesterday and it's funny because I bet they rage. Sometimes they get me right at the end of it, but at least they spent all their time only trying to get one kill instead of four. BUT I still think the time for those supers are a bit too long. :/ I mean people did let them get to level 3/they got it as a reward but damn. Four+ kills with one super? Goddamn!

Kratos? He has a lot of good air moves that can combo into each other, but of course all people do is MASH MASH MASH MASH like you do in God of War. All people do is do his annoying grab move too. Sakuraba Neku and I literally played a team of Kratos and Parappa who just used their long range grabbing moves over and over. It worked though on us so kudos to them. I forgot all about Parappa's grabbing move, and the guy would grab you then punch the shit out of you so now I do that too. I like that grabbing move and all, but it's something random they had to give him I guess, because that's not in his game at all iirc lol. I might get on the beta sometimes and just use Parappa in the tutorial since I like him, some Parappa's seem to know some good combos already. Probably because they play all day, and he is in the tutorial which is pretty much training mode for him.

Also I'll see if choosing Sly does that for me today if I play.

Also I loved how you failed 2 times in a row your 2nd Super with Radec XD
