Why in Gods name did nintendo make up the speed booster I dont know why. Spine Sharks are soo annoying. And its not like it makes you that much faster.. Post your thoughts about it here.

I guess it's another requirement they came up with to block you from certain areas/items....

once you get used to the controls, shinespark is awesome!!! i love the new morpheball shinespark.

I agree with you Qwertyboy, the speed booster is exactly what metroid needed to make it complete. It adds kind of a fast Sonic the metroid effect! Also the shine spark is way awesome, it's fun to play around with after you beat the game.

It can be annoying. But it is a cool move. I wonder what it would be like in MP2, when its released.

I just thought of something. How is it that Samus can do the Shine Spark and the Wall Jump. She doesn't meet Dachora and the Etecoons until Super Metroid. And she even said in Fusion that they taught her those moves.

How do you break the booster blocks that are only one square in height and go horizontally? Ex: To the left of where you get your first missile tank and face the "worm" thing.

I knew that, but how do you do it. For example, the speed jump in done by crouching and then pressing A and UP at the same time. How do you do the morphball thing? The control instructions I mean.

When you enter speed boost mode push down to charge it. Then become a ball and without moving push A, then the direction you want to go in. You can go in every direction in morphball mode as you can in normal mode when doing a speed jump.

On that same note of the sonic-fast-ball move, and I think at the same spot given in the example (brinstar right before the room with the big worm with spikes) I'm having trouble with the speed ball form. I run from the room to the right and get into the ball form and I'm glowing, but when I push "A" and then try and press left I go up a block so I don't hit the speed boost blocks. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
