Mother Brain Masscare

You'll realise that the turrets aren't actually aiming for you, so they should get pretty easy to avoid. The circles can actually help you out by providing health and more missiles. As for the brain, it takes about 20 missiles in the eye to kill it, jump when it attcks and then quickly crouch down and blast it into next week! It took me about five tries to beat it so be patient.

Then run like crazy, go through the destroyed tank and up the "tower".

you cant beat him? i thought he was extremely easy. just shoot the lil orange things that come from the turrets, and if you really need to, screw attack arround for a lil while to clear those circle things. just blast open the tank with normal missles then shoot it in the eye with all the super missles you have, when u run out of super missles use normal missles...if you run out of those you suck, use charge beam

There is a pattern to Mother Brain's lazer attack as well. After you dodge the lazer, Mother Brain's eye stays open until you either fall into the lave, or blast the eye with a super missile or five regular missiles. As long as the eye is open, It won't shoot the lazer and the weak point is exposed. Knowing this made the battle a lot easier for me.

I don't like bringing back dead threads, but I needed to link to it, and I have more info to add. Once the case is destroyed, it takes 35 missiles or 7 Super Missiles to actually destroy her. I think it takes 20 Missiles or 4 Super Missiles to destroy the case.

For those trying to kill Mother Brain:

Each time you attack a new Zebetite, ignore both the cannons & the Rinkas, and keep shooting at that barrier til it goes sploot. When you finally reach the Brain, hammer the tank with Missiles til it shatters. This is where the real fun begins.

Brain will pop open her eye like she did in Super, but thankfully all she'll do is hit you with a big mid-power shot that really doesn't do as much damage as it seems due to the Rinkas constantly respawning & getting blasted by you for ammo & health. Anyway, whever her eye is open, give it a good poke with a Super Missile (hopefully you didn't lose your temper or go trigger-happy & waste them on the Zebetites or her tank).

She don't like it that much when those Supes jab her in the peepper, so she'll shut her eye for a bit, before popping it back open to zap you with another "Brain Blast". They hurt, yes, but remember that her Brain Laser from Super Metroid hurt a LOT more then this: at least right now you're still standing.

If you're having a bad day, hide on top of the cannon above the last Zebetite gate: only a few oddly-aimed Rinkas can hit you up here, and you can still hit them well before they get close. Continue poking Mother Brain in the eye with your Super Missiles, switching to regular if you run out, until you finally make her eye -as well as the rest of her- go POP!

Escape through the familiar exit shaft & prepare for another perve trip as Samus reveals her latest new skimpy outfit... what's this? No ending? What's going on here? Have fun... I know the Pirates will... as they chase you around their ship til it feels like you're a rat in a frickin maze!
