I think the music throuought the game is all top notch. It is really cool.

I use the sound test to listen to Kraid's theme while im in the car I LOVE that soundtrack

I like brinstars theme the most. It brings back memories... Ahh... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NOT ALL OF THEM ARE GOOD WAAAAAAAA!

I love Brinstar's theme. I also like Ridley's theme, and the music that plays during the credits. The whole series has a lot of good music.

Kraids and Brinstar's themes are my favorites. Kraid is my favorite if I had to pick one though...

If you look around the web, there is a whole lot of remixes for Kraids theme. I like the one from Super Smash Brothers Melee.

I particullarly like music from Metroid Prime. Good stuff...

I've noticed something. In the first metroid games, the bosses tended to be very much reptillian. Kraid, Ridley, Omega metroids, Queen metroid, Crocmire, etc. Now many of hte bosses tend to resemble bugs. For example, the spider boss in fusion, and the centipede, acid worm and Imago in MZM. Just thought that was interesting.

Prime had a couple of bugs too. There was the Parasite Queen. There is another one called Flaahgra, but I'm not sure if he's classified as a bug or a plant.

Yeah, Prime had the platted beetle, those war wasps, and a few other insects aswell. But I've noticed more machines recently aswell: Nightmare, Meta-Ridley, Mecha-Ridley ( the one from zero-mission) and the Hive-Mecha. Neat tendancies though.

The Incinerator Drone, the sentry & aqua drones, auto & mega turrets are more machines. Metroid Prime's first form qualifies as a machine and a bug as well.

MP's second form is more of an "it" than anything. It looks like a floating head/jelly fish thing. So I am classifying it as either "im-bred", "mutated" or "it"

Well technically that thing you saw in Fusion was the neural network of the Robot. It wasnt the actually bot.
