Another one for me is literally right after I score, which is also usually like 2 minutes until half time. They always seem to score straight from the kick off, even if I go ultra defensive they still somehow manage to slide a ball in or curl a shot in that's going snail's pace.

Reminds me of many matches I have had... 70 minutes without goals. I score, they score two minutes later.

This happens to me, but only after it took me ages to score an equalizer. And yeah, ultra defensive is definitely worse that sticking to an attacking gameplan.

PES 2008 remains the only PES where I did exactly what I wanted to do all the time. It was more about the real life football mentality of the player than the mechanics of the game imo. I was very good at that version so when I lost on or offline, it was only me to blame and I took defeat with grace (even enjoyed being beaten in some matches). Any goal I concede in these recent PES's is the AI's fault.

I'm going to moan again about a player my assistant labeled "The Next Buffon" before I found out he was 5ft 5ins tall, what team is he going to get into? Tried playing him in the cup and anything that went away from the middle of the goal went in.

Look on the bright side: at least he is in the middle and not in one of the posts all the time!

I should have run some tests with goalkeepers before editing their stats and starting a new BAL file... Now any one on one against me ends up in a goal.

Same thing happened to me, but I only did it with Diego Cavalieri, and it was an accident. D:

That's what I thought, but obviously I was wrong. I really have to work on my ability to curve the ball from angles.

Cashis, stick an age limit in there for a bit of a challenge with your signings being solely from newcomers and your youth team.

Cashis, that's the beauty of BAL, a lot of the time you're only as good as your teammates in games, especially when you're trying to get your assist tally up from Midfield.

and i tend to do all my ML saves with the Youth Team signings.

I almost flip my shit at the manager for substituting me in a crucial game which we couldn't afford to win. To my pleasure, I remembered that when you are not in the pitch, the game turns more balanced, which usually means your team starts playing better, and your players don't make any stupid choices. We ended up winning by a nice margin.

I'm only in the second season. I don't mean high overall, it's just that Ronaldo scores from anywhere, Higuain is twice as fast as any defender, Superman wants to be like Casillas, Alonso never loses a 50/50. Even my youth team can destroy some teams.

Going to do a few challenges when I go a season unbeaten.

I'm pretty sure you mentioned a challenge thread before. That's a good idea. Why don't you create it?
