SOMS of the Fortnight (III) Even more late this week, apologies. At least I don't have to do a youtube explanation of my actions because the nominees are finally here! Sadly Christian Breuer did not make the cut this time because he has pulled a NeoSpurs. In other news we've spent top dollar to create a Hall of Fame which can be seen at the top of the thread! Parmar1993 is nominated AGAIN. Enter the Dragons is coming into form, really enjoying this one. Really well done and it can only go from strength to strength from here on in. Didn't expect Kidd to be so much like me; same position and nationality weirdly. It's a great read so even if you're not involved you should really check it out. Can Parmar1993 win his first SOMS of the Fortnight this week? I did say that Adinio would be back here again, can't fault his effort and have to say that his presentation is improving and his posts are better, however he still remains the dark horse here out of the three strong nominees. Should be interesting to see whether Adinio and The Saints can make the step up to Top Player. Do you think the story of the all conquering Scottish side deserves top prize this week? Lucas9 has not let us down in the spotlight, it's always a story I love reading. Delfino's term at Santos may have come and gone in the fortnight, where will he be in a weeks time? Will this story be pinned at the top of the forum for a second consecutive week? Votes are being taken via private message this week so hit the link below. SOMS of the Fortnight (III) - Winner Another tight fortnight of voting here as we had last weeks' reigning champion Lucas9 come up against the challenge of second time nominee Adinio and third time nominee Parmar1993. This time however, as far as nominations go, I decided to offer up Enter the Dragons to the forum as a voting option to try and topple the now re-born Lucas Delfino and the story of the Scottish all conquering Saints. Like his favourite club Chelsea Adinio will have to concede that this title contest is a two horse race. Not to disrespect his great effort, it's just the calibre of opposition was probably too strong this fortnight.  Lack of Good Image: There isn't much in the way of Screenshots for the Story (Sort it out Parmar) Could Lucas Delfino be the first to retain the crown in SOMS of the Fortnight history? Or would Parmar finally make the step up to greatness? Unless you've missed his big image up at the top of the post, this week the bridesmaid becomes the bride as Parmar1993 finally ascends to the coveted Hall of Fame alongside the fallen greats of Christian Breuer and Lucas Delfino. Hopefully this story is one that will keep going long after his stint at the top. My fault completely here but for the next fortnight we will be moving back to original dates (ie. Voting Friday and crowning of winner on the Sunday) from Fortnight IV on. Since this is a fortnightly competition, anyone interested has plenty of time to reach the top three. SOMS of the Fortnight (IV) nominations will be announced on the 17th of February so good luck. ------------------- | |
