general What do you want to see return?

Would love to see editing back in ML. No idea why they removed that. I was actually wanting to make my own kit in ML the other day, as I had some made up, but the only way to do it was to do it over an already existing team, which sucks. I loved the old days where you would start an ML, you could name your team, edit your logo, edit your kits and pick up to three players to add to your team of defaults. Those were great times.

The overall goals needs to make a return as well. I loved looking at those stats on PES5 (Tommo is right, I'm a sucker for stats), especially seeing as I played a shit load of seasons in that ML, so it was always interesting to see how many goals the stars scored before they retired, then see which youngsters would turn into goal machines after about 10 seasons.

The "mix n match" kits need to come back. Hell, there actually needs to be a third kit. It doesn't happen that often, but sometimes you will face a team that no matter what kit you use it will clash with their kit. Surely it's time for 3rd choice kits to be added.

Echoing Tommo's first and third point, not too bothered about the rest.

A more creative edit mode where you can mix unique hairstyles with preset faces and facial hair as you did in previous gen PES would be good as well.

• Better ML Training system
• Ability to train Playing cards or Skill cards on ML (training games?)
• RANDOM SELECTION!

that's what i want to see, hope they're implemented into the game or future games.

Getting penalty shootouts back in the main menu would be a nice touch. Beats taking penalties in training anyway, and I used to always do shootouts on the PS2.

Edit Mode in Master League - I've never understood why they removed this in the first place but one of the best things about Master League in the old days was fannying around with the kit options. Yes, you can edit your team on the current edit mode and it will change the kit of your ML team's kit, but what happens if I want to give a non-created team a new kit every season without affecting the kit for exhibition matches? Overall Goals & Assists Table in ML - One of the main things that football fans love are stats - deny it as much as you like but you're naturally drawn to them when you follow the game, even if it's something simple like looking at the league table. The fact there's so little 'history', or any way to look back at what's gone on through-out your Master League tenure, is quite bemusing. These little things may seem minor but when you begin to lose interest in your ML, these things may drag you through; whether it's because you want to see the striker you've nurtured from the youth team overtaking Messi on the top scorer list, or because you want to outdo your record from the previous season, they help you persevere through the boredom.

Injuries - There are no injuries during matches on PES anymore. It's like the Newcastle team of 2005 - all the injuries occur on the training ground. I never thought I'd say it but I miss the days of PES 4 where you'd bring in a star player and he'd get struck down in his first game, leading to him being stuck on the sidelines for 30-odd weeks.

Definitely these 3. I used to love adding an extra star to my created teams emblem after a Champions League win, even created a 10th anniversary badge and kit. God, those were definitely the days.  Agree that the injuries need to be cranked up a little bit. One of the things I hate about the PES community is that they moan about that injury system and claim it's annoying, but it adds to the realism. As for the Overall Goals & Assists table, I remember getting a young Llorente in there once, was about 30 goals short of beating Henry.

An ML season just doesn't seem 100% complete without playing through that odd December/January cold winter fixture with the White pitch, Yellow ball & Most players wearing long sleeves shirts with black gloves

Was removed for this generation and hasn't been able to return because of the restrictions on this current engine.

For next-gen, it will change.
