I have started off my Masters league as Southampton just to test what the master's league this year is up to. I simmed half of the matches and played half. January transfer deadline is over. I am at the bottom of the table with 9 points and the next team above me is Norwich with 24 points. So looks like relegation is on the cards. I have set transfer activity to normal, and dont see much activity going during the window. I have placed most of my players available for loan as well as transfer, but duds dont seem to be getting no offer what so ever. Only I managed to send out one player on loan and rest of them still with me. I have to terminate the contract of most of them so that I can bid for new players. Overall transfers look good. I cant get great players right away and have to struggle while playing with relatively smaller teams..

I set my transfer activity to high and still not much has happened in summer or January. Just minor deals from club to club under £1m for unknown players but there was 1 stand out buy which was Xavi moving to Man City for £41m other than that transfers seem very dull unless it's you involved with them. Why would you wonna sim half of your games and then act suprised your sitting in 20th? I am not surprised at my position, afterall I am trying to find out how masters league works out this time around with that boots, training materials and other stuff until I get a good mod with Npower League teams. Still didnt uundersatnd how to use all those training stuff in masters league..

Bah, still waiting on a full option file before I start ML or BAL...You guys are making me jealous! I started my ML the very same day i got the game (release day) but on a half done OF so i manually did all the transfers myself. but I won't be starting the 2nd season until i get an OF with the nPower Championship for realistic relegation/promotion reasons. Why are you no longer called bs@? I am also waiting for the same reason to start my master league. By the way, FIFA 13 tomorrow, any reactions on that. I have read somewhere that 'Manager Mode' on it is quite absorbing., I hate the gameplay on it though !!

I am having dufficulty winning games with Pes 2013. I usually play top player, but I dropped to professional and with 1 bar passing assistance. I usually play a freeflowing passing game, not like keeping the ball for ever and end the match up with 75% possession. I started a fresh masters league campain with southampton, but after 15 games, I am at 2nd from bottom. Only big win is 2-0 with some stupid team. I am not conceeding more than 2, but nerevr managed to score more than 2 as well. Most of the games I end up with 0 goals.. Suggessions??

I had the same problem, bumped it up and now I'm finally scoring winning games. It seems like more space opens up for you as the CPU closes you down. You just need to be patient and wait for the killer pass. Of course, I get the occassional f.. up and bore 0-0 but I suppose it's realistic. After a week, you'll find Pro too easy. Thanks for the great advice. I bumped up the difficulty to Top player and now realising the beauty of the game. It feels and plays realistic. I have to admit, I felt bored by the game when I was playing with Pro difficulty. As soon as I moved to Top player, I dont feel like quiting the game for the day. I dont find words to describe the way the game feels. Its pretty realisitic. I lost 2 games in a row and a 0-0 draw but not even a single min, I felt bored and rather my desire to play started increasing more and more. I was wondering if I need to get FIFA this time, but now I am confident. I am not even thinking about it. This game is already at an amazing level, that FIFA can never even attempt to touch.. I am stil waiting for Npower league teams updated, so that I would start an indepth Masters league. I started a new campaign with Southampton again with top player difficulty.
The squad is full of shitty forwards and wingers whom I cant offload immediately as no one get any offers 1st season. I got a CB with overall 71 rating from my youth academy. I terminated contracts of couple of midfields of 62 rating at 18 years of age. Bought another unknown DMF of 77 overall at 22 yrs age for 2 Mill from transfer market. I am already bank rupt and somehow managed to send one of my 4 RBs(true 4 RBs in squad, but cant offload or terminate) on loan. Now my finances are pretty balanced with no savings what so ever. Won the 1st practise game 1-0.
My season kick started with Chelsea at Stamforde Bridge. Lost the game convincingly 3-0. All three goals at 1st half. I went to damage control mode in 2nd half and sweated it out to avoid embarrassment. I was amazed with the quality of play Chelsea displayed. Their passing was slick, build up was amazing and Torres, my lord.. He tamed me the whole game. Scored couple of his trademark goals and another one coming from Marco Martin. Little shocked to see him in starting line up at the 1st match of the season ahead of Hazard.
Second game was a home game with West Ham. I started off aggresively as I wanted 3 points from this game. In the process, lost Davis for a red card at 30 min mark for aggressive pressing. I didnt give up and tried hard to find spaces and make my players run/work hard. On top of that, the Hammers increased their tempo of the game as well. So went back to save my skin mode during the last 30 mins of the game and managed to scrape a point. Pretty disappoined on the result.
Third game was with West Brom at their home. I believed if I play well, I could manage my 1st win of the season, but the result was disappointing again. Had a few decent shots but nothing brought me a goal. I desparately need to ofload most of the unwanted shit to cut wages and bring in a quality striker. Lallana and Cork are the only decent players with potential. Need to work hard and try to avoid dropping more points till the next transfer window opens to get a decent striker to help Lambert up front.

Atlast my team tasted victory and that too, a hard earned one against Wigan. But lost FA cup 1st round to Stroke. Later drew a league game against Fulham. Right now sitting at the bottom position. By the way I am playing, relegation seems to be on the cards. If I manage to stay in the league, I would celebrate it as a Title victory. But I am enjoying the challenge right now. I started finding spaces and atleast entering into score sheets every game now. Scored couple of screamers on the way. Need to improve a lot in defending as at the moment the wingers were beating my full backs almost all the time.

Finally started my Npower league campain with Leeds United. Wanted to completely overhaul the team, but could not as no club is interested in my players and I cant terminate them either. Have got good defenders in the side, but the players higher up the pitch are all aged. Cant find a quality player to bring from my youth pool as well. So I started my campain hoping to stop renewing the contracts of several players after 1st season. Started the campain on a poor note by loosing/drawing first 5-6 games. Then picked up the tempo slowly and now by the end of November, sitting at the middle of the table. Cant see catching up the top teams nor drop more points and end up in relegation. So relatively happy that I could reshape the team by the end of next season and then get promoted to Premier league. Looking for a good/cheap AM/SS with a potential to grow.

After getting bored of FIFA, got back to PES as I had 4 days off from work and hey this game tastes best when you get back to it after a break. Started off my Master's league with Southampton with Superstar difficulty. Going got tough initially and during the mid season, I was with 1 win and 3 draws, rest losses and bad losses leaving me at the bottom of the table. So I decided to drop down to Top Player dificulty and changed the camera to default from pitch side. Now I felt passing to be more slick and enjoyable. Goals started to come but couldnt manage to get out of the relegation zone. Completed my first season bottom of the table ending a miserable and season to forget. All the sponsors backed off and cancelled the sponsorships. Huge money lost there, So I offloaded several fringe players by simply rejecting thir contract extensions and managed to sell couple of players. No new signings as well. But I kept my first team intack and brought an 16 year old AM from my Youth squad with an over all rating of 65 but excellent stats that really mattered, dont remember his name though, Noehui and Aartaman brought from my first season still remain. Also upgraded my coach and trainer with the money saved in first season, Schneiderlin, my DM was picked in the team of the season and he expressed his happyiess which was a consolation for me. Got three small sponsors now out of which one says Schneiderlin should play 40 games this season. He grew rapidly and many big teams are watching him now. Thought of reaping huge amout from him and reinvesting, but now need to think twice. After all that, my battle for promotion began shakily. Acted miserly by offloading many players and now my team is with no talented back ups. My first blow came when Nohei was injured in a warmup game and was out for 6 weeks. So I was forced to bring in another CB from my youth as an additional cover. Things got even worse as I lost all my first 3 games in the new season. The third defeat was even hard to take,a 6-1 battering by Notts at my backyard. However, I managed a pretty good comeback by winning next 3 league games after that demoralising defeat. Tweaked my gameplan a bit and included Lambert in my first team along with Mayuku and it payed dividends. I was pissed of with Lambert during my first season as he failed to find the net many times though he started say 15 odd games and hence moved down my pecking order. I got him back into playing 11 now and he had an instant impact and scored couple of goals in his come back. So I am sitting at mid table after 6 games with some momentum and confidence, but still a huge mountain to climb. An incredible journey so far. Will keep you guys posted after a while again.. PES and ML rocks.. Edit: Nov 25, 12 6:48pm

Continuing from where I left.. January transfer window is closed now and I am sitting at 6th position with 31 points. Norwich leads the battle for promotion with 42 points. Next in the pecking order are Notts and Reading with 39 points each. Some catching up to do to regain promotion to Premier League. Mayuku and Lambert are having a season to remember so far, by leading the goal scorers chart. Lambert had an incredible start to the season with 7 goals in first 5 games, but is fading off rapidly now. Also every now and then. my team is taking a battering. So I switched back to 4-2--3-1 formation with Mayuku being the lone striker. He developed into a beast though with 81 overall. Davis doing the support role perfectly with assists and crosses. Lallana hintting bullet goals every now and then. Shneiderlin going about his things calmly, after all a member of Team of Premier league last season. Its only lack of good bench strength pegging me back as the form of most my first team members going down together at a time. Played 3 dire draws in last 3 games as I cannot afford to drop any points and hence little circumspect in commiting many team mates forward. Adding to that my GoalKeeper Boruc with over all 82 at age 33 started making a fool out of himself and leaving team in precarious situations. My patience ran out and I went into Jan Market looking for a better shot stooper. To my surprise, I cant even sign a 70 odd rated player for my team, leave alone 80+. So I made up my mind to hand in starts to my back up keeper with 71 over all at 24 age. Nerve wreaking climax to the season awaits me...
My noteworty teammates with their overall at the moment Boruc (82) Clyne(81) Noheu(85) Fonte(75) Fox(78) Schneiderlin(83) Cork(77)/Lallana(78) Davis(81) Puncheon(77)/Aartaman(73) Ramirez(79)/Di Prado(74) Mayuku(82)/Lambert(67)
