Started one with Atalanta as Johnny suggested a while back. Looking for a new CB and RB. That should get me through the season.
In PES 2012 there was this player in the Ghana National Squad called Inkoom, check him out, as from what i remember he was young and had a nice overall. He could play as a RB or LB
He looks pretty good tbh. Failing getting a player I have actually heard of, I'll go for him
Next window, I think I'll sell most of the subs and buy a few star players. Mostly need a centre back to partner Toprak and a new goalkeeper that can actually save 5mph shots...
Resigned Peter Crouch to Liverpool as my 3rd choice striker for £4.3m. He's a sick target man, manual select him with the right stick at corners and freekicks and he's a proper ariel threat. Select him at goal kicks and every single time he wins possesion in the air for us to stage a quick attack. One thing thay bothers me is the lack of injuries if it's gonna be realistic we need more injuries
I usually get an injury every couple of weeks. There was one that lasted 24 weeks so I sold the player

I'm in mid December now and only ever had 1 injury, just a minor knock to Glenn Johnson which had him sidelined for 1 week. I never knew you can sell injured players
Just started as PSG and had Motta out after a week. Yeah, I didn't think it would work but thankfully it did
No, but I do have a LOT of debt. Going to quit because I did take it a little far.
Might make an all British side with someone. Possibly Swansea. Although being Scottish, the majority of the squad will be Celtic, Motherwell and free agents
British players are a MUST. When you score a goal and see aload of british players together celebrating you will understand what i mean. Out with the foreigners in with the brits!

I assume you're English?
Yep, our league is being spoiled by the overseas players stopping the brits from having their moment in the sun. But not in my ML! When i start a Europa League game and 9 out of the 11 are british i feel a weird sense of loyalty and proudness. It's hard to explain but you have to represent your country when football is in your heart not sell out
There's a reason for that. You don't produce enough talent from the youth academies. Instead, teams poach from others.
used a stat converter to transfer them across, they came out better than what I thought so I'm not signing anyone unless they are newcomers or academy products.
Where's this stat converter? Would save me a lot of trouble.
if you are using the one I think you are using, then I had hand in making it. its the one with the champions league background on the results page.
Yeah It's better than the other one that was there.
It's a shame I've started my ML without the one player I really wanted - Lucas Ocampos. Was amazing in my Everton save before it crashed about 10 times in the same day. R.I.P Everton save
It seems if you set the activity to high, there's always a big star that moves. In my case, it was Ronaldo...twice.
He went to Inter, then Juventus in the next window.
That's why I always set it to low so when a big transfer happens it really is big. I know it's only a game, but I hate the stupid transfers like that in PES.
To be fair, FIFA is 100x worse.
Can't wait for an OF so I can get cracking with this ML stuff properly.
Lol at how even half-decent players at lesser clubs are at 1% chance of signing for me (as Spurs), yet Higuain/Lewandowski/Hummels and even Xavi (I think) were either half interested or around 98%.... Bit iffy that
Still, Lewandowski >>>>> 90 shooting with his boots, then gave him a +3 stat boost for shooting. Every time he gets the ball it's just amazing
You were on EA forums a while ago? Otherwise I'm going crazy...
You guys should check out my Southampton ML on my youtube channel and tell me what you think www.youtube.com/mgovier6
I was watching that last night It's good to find someone who actually talks while they're playing. The Midnite Kid is the only other person I know that does it for PES. Keep up the good work
I just bought Kaka in my ML and he had a different pair which only one person can use..
Will i only get more boots to choose from when i buy a new player?
Or do you unlock more along the way?
I know you get a pair after the first training game. I know the players you buy come with their own boots. I've heard you can get up to 4 boots per season (not including the ones from players bought) but I don't know how you get them.
I am having dufficulty winning games with Pes 2013. I usually play top player, but I dropped to professional and with 1 bar passing assistance. I usually play a freeflowing passing game, not like keeping the ball for ever and end the match up with 75% possession. I started a fresh masters league campain with southampton, but after 15 games, I am at 2nd from bottom. Only big win is 2-0 with some stupid team. I am not conceeding more than 2, but nerevr managed to score more than 2 as well. Most of the games I end up with 0 goals.. Suggessions??
Move to Top Player. I had the same problem, bumped it up and now I'm finally scoring winning games. It seems like more space opens up for you as the CPU closes you down. You just need to be patient and wait for the killer pass. Of course, I get the occassional f.. up and bore 0-0 but I suppose it's realistic. After a week, you'll find Pro too easy.
Trying to get this back on topic, I'll start a ML with Fluminense when my PES 2013 arrives (If it ever..). So, anybody got a good, cheap and young RB recommendation there?
Don't know if Mario Fernandes is at a rival team but you could go for him. Always a beast in FIFA.

He plays for CSKA Moscow now, Is CSKA even on the game?
Oh right, thought he was still at Gremio or something. Yeah, they are.
Is there a specific age, ability, price range or nationality you want the RB to be? I know of quite a few decent RBs that won't break your bank
Age between 17-26, Ability being more than 70 is good enough, I think a price range below 5 millions would be good, And, South American would be even better.
Think Danilo is your best bet. Not sure if he's in the game but you can try get Arias from Sporting CP.
I've had some cracking games as Lyon. Trying to build a mostly French side. Bought Mounier for ~£2m and Diaby for ~£12m I think it was. Mounier has been pretty good tbh. Got an assist and goal on his debut in a 4-3 loss to Bordeaux. We were 2-0 up within 10 minutes as well. Thought it would be a rout but they scored twice in the last few minutes after I was 3-2 up. Shameful defending on my part. Diaby has the goal of the season so far with a belter from 30 yards, right into the top corner. Beau!
PES is a simulation game, based on real life. People try and be like real managers and instead of going for 30 year olds who will only last so many years, they go for youngsters who they can develop and will be on a lower wage. There are only a few older players I would play over youngsters. Casillas being the prime example. I'd love to develop Adan more but I don't see that happening. Xabi Alonso is another. Then there are players like Carvalho who tactically is sound in defence but with Varane in the squad, Carvalho has no chance playing for me unless form/injury force me to choose him.
I'm in my 2nd season of ML with Atalanta already. So sorry but no, I can't use any player I want to for the whole of my ML. If I bought someone like Pirlo, it would be a waste of money when I can get a younger player that will last a lot longer and in the long term, be more useful. Pirlo would only be a short term fix for us.
So logically, having a long term plan would include youth players, no?
Well ML doesn't end, does it? OR is it something like 40 seasons?
But anyway, I get where you're coming from but I don't find enjoyment from buying already proven players. I much prefer getting a player for like 1m and then develop him to be one of the best in the world.
To say the way we want to play the game is "illogical" is pretty stupid in my opinion. I could say that you just buying British players isn't logical because there are better foreign players in the game you could get for less money.
Anyone who plays 40 seasons without simming a single match on their ML is not be messed with hahaha. The most I've ever done is 3 and a half
And it is illogical because you all say build for the future blah blah blah but you never stick with that save long enough to witness that future you've built so you spend your entire ML lives needlessly building and never reeping the benefits. Wheres the logic in that?
I have only bought 2 British players Crouch and Whitehead and they were both cheap. Under £5m infact so hows that illogical?
The young players physical stats are much better compared to the older players. And their technical ability will only increase. If they play well, it will only be a few seasons before they grow into world beaters.
It's illogical because you could have bought younger, better players who cost around the same.
I don't know why you're bothering. Nothing you say has even slightly tempted me to go for older players.
I'm not saying go out and buy old players am i? What i said was theres no need for everyone to go so overboard and flog all their players after they exceed a certain age as if they instantly catch a fatal life threatening disease on their 29th Birthday (lol it makes me laugh) Why have a squad thay consists only of players in their early 20s?
It means you miss out on 3/4 of the players on the game because you worry so much about age which means absolutely nothing unless they are approaching 40. What do you mean by physical stats? Like Top speed, explosive power, body balance? Thats aload of bullshit mate. players either have good physical stats or they don't, it's regardless of their age. How can that be true if players don't begin to decline until late 30s early 40s?
So what your tryna say is players get their peak in physical stats in their mid 20s but then it instantly drops in their late 20s and continues to decrease for the next 10-15 years of their career? Wow
Well you're saying that it's logical so...basically yes if you want a straight answer. Where have you seen people sell all their players over 29 and bring in 18/19 year olds? Point me to it, please.
No, I'm saying after players hit 30, their physical stats SHOULD start to decline. Whereas youngsters will go the other way meaning 2/3 seasons in, they will be a lot more helpful to your team than older players. You're just trying to twist my words because you've ran out of arguments.
I said I get your point not that I agree with it. If you have PES experience then why can't you go more than 5/6 seasons?
It's how far into PES and I'm already in my second season of ML and BAL. I think if I stuck to one save, I'd be into my fourth season. That's with 10 minutes a game too.
On PES 09 I only had one proper save. Although I only got into the fifth season because FIFA was actually a decent game back then.
This year I have Atlanta which I will keep that as my main save until I win the Serie A. After that, who knows where I'll go. Madrid seem the obvious choice but I don't like changing the team much.
Anyone here tried to tweak the tactics so that all the teams play real life like? If so can some one direct me?? that makes ML so much more interesting..
I saw a post about that a while ago. Can't remember where though, sorry.
To be fair, there aren't many teams that use them. Napoli, possibly and I'm assuming Brazil teams use them a bit. Still though, no reason to take them out.
Love how tight the league is. Last day of the season and two teams fighting for 1st, 3 fighting for a CL place, 5 fighting relegation. It's incredible!
Stared as Southampton. Was going to sim a few seasons to let the youth develop but played the first game and I'm thinking twice. Ward-Prose proved himself with an assist from 20 yards out...of our own box
Might as well try and play a few seasons with them
Hey guys, it's been an absolute pain in the * to find anything about ML this year!
I was just wondering how good it is? Last year was my first real ML in years, but i've heard something about boots or something? That ruins it apparently but couldn't find any active forums?
So I was wondering what are the major faults this year in the ML and whats changed?
Would very much appreciate a response XD
The boots don't ruin it at all. Unless you have a problem with your players wearing default black boots for a while.
Can't say what's changed, the last PES I played was 2010. I love this though, haven't found any faults and always discover new things.
Mace85: Nice to see you have some decent players. You've basically beaten the challenge
Reus wasn't great for me tbh. Scored 1/2 great goals but not the best. Try Montero (Ecuadorian one) should be in "Others" so only costs a couple million. Great little winger. Saved my bacon more than a few times.
Update: Signed Falcao, just over 14M So with the 25M from the sale of Gameiro, I signed BOTH Lewandowski and Falcao! Hired all the top rated staff, and will sign Ogbonna for January.
Yeah, defo beaten the challenge now Going to create an SPL youth team and try win the Prem with them. Any SPL followers? Ryan Fraser and Tony Watt will probably be the star players.
WOOW! Your Master League has changed alot since ive last been on this Forum. (PES 2009-2010) Anyway is good to see its still popular, Im hoping to get back to my old posting days on this Thread, atm i got a ML with ManU, Santos and Charlton but i will be starting it all again once PC Patches are supported, also thinking of doing a SOMS in BL to go along with my ML.
Should do a ML SOMS, not enough of them. None of them, actually
Goalkeeper: Casillas is the obvious number 1 with Adan getting a fair amount of Copa and CL games. Jesus Fernandez has played 1/2 games but he'll probably be sold as I prefer Adan.
Right Back: I love Arbeloa but because he's old (only 29 but compared to the rest of the team, he's getting on) I decided to buy a back-up in the form of young Rafael from Man United. He's nearly always on form so the two share games. Rafael has really impressed, he's already scored a belter from 30 yards or so and has grown a few points already.
Centre Back: Pepe and Sergio Ramos are tanks, not much else to it. Only conceded 7 league goals this season so they must be doing something right. I'm trying to develop Varane a bit just now since Carvalho is old and crap and Albiol won't improve. Also have Nacho so he'll probably feature a bit.
Left Back: Marcelo and Coentrao. Both solid and young so we're fine in that department.
Defensive Midfield: Xabi Alonso is our main man here however I did sign Oriol Romeu (I know he's a Barca man but it's just a game) so he'll be fighting for a spot. He's impressed so far but Alonso is just too Alonso tbh. Essien has played here as well but since he's on loan, he'll get sold next season.
Centre Midfield: I mostly use Khedira here with Essien filling in when need be. Both solid defensively and going forward so perfect for me. I don't like Modric and he can't defend so he's going as soon as possible.
Right Midfield: Agelitoooo! Yeah, I love Di Maria but he's not that great on the game like his stats suggest. Callejon gets a lot of games and he's great, always involved with everything.
Left Midfield: You may think I use Cristiano all the time as it would make sense to use the best player but I don't really. He's always off form, with his amazing 4 in that stat. Usually it's Callejon filling in for him, Ocassionally the odd Kaka appearance.
Attacking Midfield: Ozil is our main man but our new signing Mario Gotze is just incredible. They have 9 assists between them, Gotze with 7 of them although most of them would be from playing out wide.
Striker: Higuain and Benzema usually rotate with Morata getting a game here and there. Higuain has been incredible the past few games. Scored 2 lobs as well as a couple other goals. We dominate when both of them are up front together but we don't have the numbers up top to do that often, epecially with 2 games nearly every week.
Spoiler:League, Copa, CL
We've bossed the league, winning 9 games and drawing 4 against lesser opponents. Mallorca, Zaragoza, Depor, Rayo) The highlight so far has been beating Barca at the Nou Camp 3-1 which put us 3 points ahead of them.
We're into the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey against none other than Brighton and Hove Albion. If I had a Adelante OF I'd use it but oh well. Didn't expect them to make it so far though, they beat Valencia. We face Sevilla or Celta Vigo in the next round if we manage to get past the mighty Brighton.
We're struggling in the Champions League, unfortunately. Montpellier are sitting top having won 4 out of 4. We're 2nd, one point ahead of Galatasaray. Cluj are bottom with 1 point which they hilariously got from us.
Spoiler:Top Scorers/Assists
League Top Scorers: Benzema - 7 Messi - 6 Higuain - 5 Pedro - 5 Albin - 5 Shoaei - 5 Agirretxe - 5
League Top Assists Gotze - 4 Filipe - 4 Simao - 4 Griezmaan - 4 Apono - 4
Copa del Rey Top Scorers: Higuain - 3 Park Chu Young - 3 Stuani - 3 C. Ronaldo - 2 Various others on 2.
Copa del Rey Top Assists: C. Ronaldo - 3 Kazim Kazim - 3 Bruno - 3
Champions League Top Scorers: Morata - 3 Chamakh - 3 Hazard - 3 Torres - 3 Balotelli - 3 Various others on 3.
Champions League Top Assists Lampard - 3 Silva - 3 Lavezzi - 3 Gotze - 2 Various others on 2.
RAUL94, surely it kind of spoils the fun of building up your team if you're starting with one of the best squads on the game?
Ah, I originally had an explanation for that. They're my team and it's more for fun than struggling with lower teams. I like to have one of each so I don't get bored
What season are in to be in the UCL and still have some of those generic players? Fair play though. Good luck against Barcelona. If you're tempted to man mark Messi using the settings, don't. I tried that in a previous ML and he just tore my defence out of shape because he decides to do what he *bleep*ing pleases, even in the final third I always had a centre half out of position.
Messi is poor. Arbeloa has had him in his back pocket many a time.
RAUL94 He's gonna be class, I can tell already. His passing range is amazing, and he's quick on the ball even though he's only 20. Though he is small, he gets about and gets stuck in.
I'd imagine giving it another season and then he'll be my first choice defensive mid ahead of Sandro.
Excellent. Think I'll try get him for Madrid since Essien is leaving me
The regens I picked up look so fudging good. Juninho, Ambrosini, Zanetti and Abidal. Zanetti got one of those special unveilings yet he's only rated 66. He has 8 form and a couple decent stats. Should replace Arbeloa soon.
Don't know why I got the other three. Will develop them anyway.
DaveyPoshboy See if you can get a hold of Ambrosini's regen. He's a *bleep*ing rock in the middle of the park. Was rated 75/76 when he showed up for me.
