Got to 1st January in the second season with my QPR side. First I will go on about my first season though. We ended up finishing 8th in out first season, only 1 goal difference behind both Newcastle and Chelsea who finished 7th and 6th. We could only score 25 and we conceded 24. Our second season has been terrible, we are 15th after 19 games and other then a 5-0 win over 17th place Newcastle and a 3-0 win over 20th place (newly promoted) Bolton, we have been awful. On paper I would say I should be challenging the european spots, I am 7 points behind...

Could do with a better strike partner for Lewandowski as Ranger is only great as a sub and Wroughllen is terrible.

Well Hjorwesland BK capped the D2 league with a great finish!

Won 1-0 over NEC Nijmegen to win the Dutch Cup - granting a Europa league place.
This game I was under the pump from the start, NEC were pressing and had a number of close calls, but closer to half time, I started to assert myself more, gain more possession, and mount a couple of attacking raids.
Then, right after half time, Wroughllen strikes, breaking off the last defender and toe-poking past the keeper. Then, it was a matter of holding on to possession and grinding out the game. A lucky win, but a win none the less!

Last day of the league season, I am tied with WE United, they are ahead on goals scored, as goal difference is level. I go into half time 1-0 up, dominating 3rd place Wondengine Town, and WE United is 0-0 with mid table Cantlesir spor. Full time whistle goes, with just 1-0 on the board, despite racking up a lot of quality chances, and the confetti starts falling - WE United has lost 2-0, and I win the title!

Offseason underway now, and Hooper has arrived on a free from Celtic. Also managed a deal for Tolchotrzyn and have signed Sadio on a free from Stade Rennais. He is a 21 year old Guinean, listed as SS, but can play as CMF, and is "free roaming" which gives me a guy I want - a guy who can pop up in the spaces between strikers/wingers, and gives the midfield more movement. I am trying to sign Gameiro, Ranger and Miguel Vitor (a CB from Benfica who can play either RB or LB) right now.

need another good striker, so I can rotate my attacking options.
need a better LB, so I can use Osrabbe as depth, preferably a LB who can double as an LMF

It has been a pretty quick overhaul so far, but I am having to reject offers for a number of my star players, especially Niellender and Wroughllen. Offers coming in for El Azzouzi are tempting, but unless I land 2 strikers, I can't let go of one

I've had that a few times before too, but having a better coach and fitness trainer definitely makes it a lot less likely...Now I just tend to have half my squad go on international duty the day before have to face someone like Barca or Madrid...It happened last night and Barca went 1-0 up inside 2 minutes...I lost 4-3 in the end...Would have been a bit easier with my first team though...

I'm 3rd at the moment I think, and Barca are running away with it a bit, but I'm hoping to qualify from the CL group for the first time at least...

PES should really be working on the YOUTH player system..I mean u'd find same player in multiple teams...and the new generation of youth would probably be the same as previous ones

they should at least have a name/stat generator for youth players, or at least different names for youth teams in different leagues

like in spain/s.america, have youth players with names like Garcia and Rodriguez

in england, Jones/Brown/etc

in germany, Schmidt and Koch

etc

All the youth team names sounds like someone from Konami smashed his head against a keyboard.

Nice! I had one the other day where I booted it from about 35m out in hope, and the keeper parried it straight to my striker who promply tapped it home in the last minute, but yours sounds a hell of a lot better. Video?

As for video, I have about 20 goals I wanna show off, but as you cant upload them I'll have to rig up some way of recording them all. I'll note you when I sort it.

After getting bored of FIFA, got back to PES as I had 4 days off from work and hey this game tastes best when you get back to it after a break. Started off my Master's league with Southampton with Superstar difficulty. Going got tough initially and during the mid season, I was with 1 win and 3 draws, rest losses and bad losses leaving me at the bottom of the table. So I decided to drop down to Top Player dificulty and changed the camera to default from pitch side. Now I felt passing to be more slick and enjoyable. Goals started to come but couldnt manage to get out of the relegation zone. Completed my first season bottom of the table ending a miserable and season to forget. All the sponsors backed off and cancelled the sponsorships. Huge money lost there, So I offloaded several fringe players by simply rejecting thir contract extensions and managed to sell couple of players. No new signings as well. But I kept my first team intack and brought an 16 year old AM from my Youth squad with an over all rating of 65 but excellent stats that really mattered, dont remember his name though, Noehui and Aartaman brought from my first season still remain. Also upgraded my coach and trainer with the money saved in first season, Schneiderlin, my DM was picked in the team of the season and he expressed his happyiess which was a consolation for me. Got three small sponsors now out of which one says Schneiderlin should play 40 games this season. He grew rapidly and many big teams are watching him now. Thought of reaping huge amout from him and reinvesting, but now need to think twice.
After all that, my battle for promotion began shakily. Acted miserly by offloading many players and now my team is with no talented back ups. My first blow came when Nohei was injured in a warmup game and was out for 6 weeks. So I was forced to bring in another CB from my youth as an additional cover. Things got even worse as I lost all my first 3 games in the new season. The third defeat was even hard to take,a 6-1 battering by Notts at my backyard. However, I managed a pretty good comeback by winning next 3 league games after that demoralising defeat. Tweaked my gameplan a bit and included Lambert in my first team along with Mayuku and it payed dividends. I was pissed of with Lambert during my first season as he failed to find the net many times though he started say 15 odd games and hence moved down my pecking order. I got him back into playing 11 now and he had an instant impact and scored couple of goals in his come back. So I am sitting at mid table after 6 games with some momentum and confidence, but still a huge mountain to climb. An incredible journey so far. Will keep you guys posted after a while again.. PES and ML rocks..

Continuing from where I left.. January transfer window is closed now and I am sitting at 6th position with 31 points. Norwich leads the battle for promotion with 42 points. Next in the pecking order are Notts and Reading with 39 points each. Some catching up to do to regain promotion to Premier League. Mayuku and Lambert are having a season to remember so far, by leading the goal scorers chart. Lambert had an incredible start to the season with 7 goals in first 5 games, but is fading off rapidly now. Also every now and then. my team is taking a battering. So I switched back to 4-2--3-1 formation with Mayuku being the lone striker. He developed into a beast though with 81 overall. Davis doing the support role perfectly with assists and crosses. Lallana hintting bullet goals every now and then. Shneiderlin going about his things calmly, after all a member of Team of Premier league last season. Its only lack of good bench strength pegging me back as the form of most my first team members going down together at a time. Played 3 dire draws in last 3 games as I cannot afford to drop any points and hence little circumspect in commiting many team mates forward. Adding to that my GoalKeeper Boruc with over all 82 at age 33 started making a fool out of himself and leaving team in precarious situations. My patience ran out and I went into Jan Market looking for a better shot stooper. To my surprise, I cant even sign a 70 odd rated player for my team, leave alone 80+. So I made up my mind to hand in starts to my back up keeper with 71 over all at 24 age. Nerve wreaking climax to the season awaits me...
