	Log in to remove this advertisement Pretty straightforward question here, what was your favorite NSMB game and why? Would you consider buying the next installment during the holidays (NSMB: Wii)? Personally, my favorite was the original one for the DS. The co op play was something new and I always used to play it with my brother on longer car rides. Plus the mini games offered something a little different. ------------------- A good decision is based on knowledge and not on numbers

	For me, because of 4-player co-op, NSMBW. The gameplay was epic everytime I went to my friends' house and it was enjoyable. NSMB comes in a tie with second along with NSMB2. NSMB, because of the minigames and the fact that I like games that are portable. And NSMB2 because of the concept on coins and the amazing graphics. I will consider buying NSMBU in the first month it comes out. Or maybe I should get it straightaway. Leave the decision to me. ------------------- I don't understand how Super Mario can smash blocks with his head but dies when he touches a turtle..

	New Super Mario Bros. 2 is my favorite NSMB game. I find it the most enjoyable overall and I like the whole coin concept. As for NSMBU, whenever I get a Wii U (which won't be right away), I'll make that the first game I get for it. -------------------

	Now that you mention it, Kokoro, NSMB2 now comes in a tie for first place with NSMBW. The music really needs different remixes, without completely changing it. ------------------- I don't understand how Super Mario can smash blocks with his head but dies when he touches a turtle..

	New Super Mario Bros. Wii is definitely my favorite in the series. No doubt about it. The multiplayer in the game was great and I had much more fun playing it than any other NSMB in the series. ------------------- When You Go Astray, I'll Be There To Punch You Back!

	I only played through one world of NSMB: Wii. Never really bought it. Kinda wish I did, as I doubt I'd be able to play it now with the other games due out soon. ------------------- A good decision is based on knowledge and not on numbers

	I was probably the best out of all my friends at NSMBW. We were in the World 3 Ghost House once, and found the secret exit which led to the cannon to World 6. We took the cannon, but we were all noobs on World 6-1, even me(seriously?, multiple Bullet Bills=instant death for me.) ------------------- I don't understand how Super Mario can smash blocks with his head but dies when he touches a turtle..

	All three games had its positives and negatives but now, it seems that NSMBW and NSMB2 are just about equal to me. ------------------- I don't understand how Super Mario can smash blocks with his head but dies when he touches a turtle..

That's what I was thinking. Judging by how similar it is to NSMB I can see why it's necessary to play it in co op. I always thought that was one strong point in the entire series. 	NSMB and NSMBW were similar in way. NSMB had minigames to keep you busy even after you beat the game. It also had online multiplayer(but since when were the chances of that happening?!?). NSMBW also had the Coin Battle World that sort of replaced the minigames from NSMB. At that time, NSMB felt easy for me because the equation is simple in each and every time I beat Bowser(final boss). Save Mega Mushroom until final battle, touch Bowser and Jr., roll end credits. 	Same here. I beat the game at least 5 times and it got boring after every time you beat the game. Is it just me or does the Mega Mushroom make the game so easy that the last castle is easier than World 1-1 from SMB? ------------------- I don't understand how Super Mario can smash blocks with his head but dies when he touches a turtle..
