Some people go for the no avatars like me, but I guess having one makes your profile look better. But people all want some people's avatar, so they copy it. So sad for you, I guess.

No offence to myself, but I am a photoshop noob. I don't watch South Park because I rarely watch SBS. I haven't Futurama in a while but Matt Groening is the animating genius! He made all the shows I like. As for the other shows, I don't know if they even air them in Australia.

LOL, the only other language we learn is Italian. But, this year, it didn't really help me to speak Italian, just some mosaics we had to do out of pictures Italian artists made. That should go to art.

Someone needs to get the Zombiebusters!
I'm not really into really scary, horror movies. I'm more into action, comedy and adventure. So that's mainly the reason why I haven't watched anything that's rated MA15+ or over.
EDIT: Plants vs Zombies really makes me want to actually see a zombie. There's zombies, aliens, ghosts, what else has the fantasy and scientific world got to see and explore and make rumours about?

Sonic will always be my rival. Why? Because I'm encouraged to play Mario games(which I like) while the little hedgehog who I've never played in a game(except London 2012 Olympic Games where, in another story, that game was fun) is now trying to get me back for betraying him. But he won't. Once a Mario gamer, always a Mario gamer.

Good idea, Kokoro. Maybe elements from the Mario and Sonic series would make a good platformer. Maybe Sonic's roll move would be Mario's, and the Mushroom, Fire Flower power-ups would be for Sonic.
Well, wasn't that a good idea off the top of my head?

Like Mario jumping and ground-pounding his way around as fast as he can around the levels? That's a great idea, using Mario in Sonic themed levels and you have to go as fast as you can and you can share your scores through spotpass. Now that's a good idea.

Like a range of themed Mario and Sonic levels? I have so got this now. You'd start off on World 1-1 in SMB followed by a level from the Sonic games and you'd pick another good level from the Mario series followed by another Sonic level and so on, and so forth.

Agreed. NSMB and NSMBW haven't had posts in their forums since last month(which were both by me), but I don't think 3D Land is really inactive, or it might just be the fact of me not posting there even though I've got the game.

Weird, my parents just buy ready-cooked roast chicken from the shops. Though I don't eat at KFC that often(last time I went there was like, a month ago), I like they're chicken, though KFC really needs to work on how oily they serve their chicken. There wasn't a toilet, and my little bro couldn't reach the automatic dispenser, so I just had to use my mum's hand sanitizer.
Oh, and there's actually no Burger King in Australia.

I've got SMW and the old classics on VC(Wii) and I'm loving it so far. Though SMW was released 20 years before I was born, the VC gives me a better chance to play old generation Mario games.
Eiche: I'm 11, so I was born in 2001. I first played MKDS when I was 4.

Interesting. I've played all MK games except MK64(), Super Circuit, Double Dash(), and MK7()

Sakuraba Neku: I'll download it off VC Wii ASAP and see how that game is.
Also, Rainbow Road theme, so classic!

The same can't be said for my grandparents and parents. Except my dad who played the original NES SMB. My dad rules.
It could just be the fact that one grandparent is turning 79 today and the other(my mum's mum), is 67.
I don't really play Mario spin-off games like the Mario Party, Mario Baseball, and Mario Football series. Basically what I have in my shelf of Wii games are games with Miis in it, a game called Family Trainer, and MKWii.

At my dad's original house growing up, I saw a SNES in his cupboard, but I couldn't find any games. Guess they either sold it or his mum had enough of dad playing too much video games.
My mum is really so into Just Dance and Just Dance 3. She uses Just Dance for the warm-up almost every day!
I also like the sweat mode on Just Dance 3. Makes me physically fit without leaving the house!

I haven't played that much 3D games except 3D Land and partly this. And I'm way into MKWii to buy other Wii games at the moment, but I'm planning on buying it.

Seriously, I can't find a separation between 3D platformers and 2D platformers. Sure, games like SM64 seem enjoyable because you're basically playing Mario in a virtual worlds. And also the SMG games which are like the 2D platformers with the exception of the levels being held in several galaxies.
The 2D platformers excel at gameplay, and sometimes co-op, but I guess that's all the positives I can think of off the top of my head.

re: Off-Topic GD III - This GD is Mitt Rom-Big Bird approved.
I think all games had it's positives and negatives. I also consider the Super Mario Galaxy Games(even though I haven't even played it yet), to be equal to the late 80s and early 90s games like SMB3 and SMW.
I have to admit those were great games for a series only just sinking in, but the revolutionary games are good in the sense of 3D gameplay.
I prefer the more open spaces because I like exploring in games.

Really unlucky that I wasn't even into video games when I was 3.
I just missed the ultimate remake. At least one year later, that changed with MKDS.
I really need something to request when I can be born. Because I already got tons of games on VC, but SM64 would be perfect. And the DS is a little outdated now(FOR THE LAST TIME NO BLACK & WHITE 2), so I can't get the physical copy.

I was addicted from the very first time I bought it. Then when I was about 6 I sort of stopped playing it because it was getting boring. But later that year, I got back into it when I figured out there was online play. I've been playing it ever since. Not as much as 7 years ago as well.

LOL, must've been really hard to adjust to the life of gaming at a rather old age. I actually didn't play a Mario platformer until NSMB in 2006. It was one the best games ever when I was playing it, but it got a bit boring after I rolled end credits for the 15th time. Replay value, especially minigames, rather high.

re: Off-Topic GD III - This GD is Mitt Rom-Big Bird approved.
Well, for me it literally took me 3 years to master snaking. I didn't even know you could drift when I first got the game, but when I went on YouTube, I was like"How come they're better than me?"(Or maybe it was the fact that I was a noob at gaming at the time). So I went to the game manual and learnt how to snake.
I quit for a few months because I almost lapped CPUs even on 150cc.
Then I tried it out on Wi-Fi, that's where it changed. Sometimes I'd lap double noobs, or lose epically to more skilled players. And even get hit with a red shell with the occasional 'line dance', but the races were epic.

re: Off-Topic GD III - This GD is Mitt Rom-Big Bird approved.
Yeah, sometimes when I'm like, 1 and a half laps ahead, I feel like falling of the course on purpose. Don't know why I'd be showing mercy to the CPUs when I'm that far ahead, but oh well.
But the line dance is always annoying. 1st to 12th in a span of 20 seconds.
I really hope the CPUs won't be that annoying in Mario Kart for the Wii U.

Well, really? It took me about 72 hours(not kidding) to beat SMB on VC. I died on 8-1 at least 3 times because of Time up or dying because when there was less than 100 seconds, I rushed the level and accidentally fell in a pit.

Oh, I see. Nintendo 64 is a little outdated console now. Sad that Paper Mario(2000) was the last game for it. It's a good starter to that famous series in which the latest game is Sticker Star.
The graphics were about 6/10 in MK64, which is about C- for me.

I like all games with Yoshi in it.
For obvious reasons. Yoshis chronologically are the first character I played as. In MKDS, I was pointing to it and saying dinotaur(yes, I could barely talk when I first got it), so I chose it, and came 3rd in my first race. Not bad.
