For those who didn't click the link, Famitsu just release a review of New Super Mario Bros. 2. All four reviewers gave it a 9 out of 10, which certainly speaks for itself. Also helps that the magazine is incredibly respectable in Japan.

Think it's going to be that high in your opinion, perhaps a straight 10? To me, this confirms just how new the game is going to be. I can't read the review of course, but the score says enough.

I have a feeling the professional reviews are going to anywhere from 7.5-9, nothing lower or higher than that. I can understand your point canderson, especially if you weren't a fan of the first one. Nevermind the reviews, I'm sure everyone here would be able to convince you otherwise.

I guess we will have to see what kind of reviews it gets in the US. Overall I think it could go ether way based on whether or not they like the coins.

Well if anyone is curious. NSMB2 does sit at an 82 atm on Metacritic from 7 reviews.

I just read the Destructoid review, and I agree 97% on the Final Verdict. The other 3% is the fact that they might think that NSMB2 might have low replay value, too short, or large faults. But I do agree the experience will be good.

If I was a reviewer, I'd give this game(the way I think this game is so far) a 9 or 9.5.

I'll just see what I think of the game myself.
