Crytek hasn't ruled out the possibility of a Wii U version of Crysis 3.
Crysis 3 producer Mike Read said that the developer is currently "working with Nintendo", but wouldn't disclose in what capacity exactly.
"I wouldn’t say there’s no chance [for Crysis 3 on Wii U], I wouldn’t say no chance. I mean the Wii U still doesn’t have any kind of release attached to it at this point. Who knows what the future will bring with it. I can definitely say that we are working with Nintendo, and that’s about all I can say on that front.
"I wouldn’t rule it out, but given that we’re releasing Crysis in an eight month time period in February of 2013, we can’t play off of what their schedules are. I wouldn’t rule it out, but you know, it is a possibility."
The studio's development director Rasmus Højengaard had previously said that there wasn't "a fat chance" the shooter would launch on the Wii U, citing the reason of not thinking "it’s possible," as well as the fact that it wasn't "on the cards to do a Wii U version."
Crysis 3 is currently scheduled for a release on consoles and PC during February, 2013.
