Only two weeks until Rock Band Blitz is released on both XBLA and PSN, and Harmonix is celebrating the occasion by putting out the full setlist. With the 19 songs that were previously announced and today's final 6 reveals, the full 25 song setlist is complete. For those curious, today's songs include: Foo Fighters - "These Days", Kelly Clarkson - "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)", Maroon 5 - "Moves Like Jagger", Queen - "Death on Two Legs", Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Give It Away, and Soundgarden - "Spoonman".
Here are the other 19 tracks you'll find in Rock Band Blitz:
- The All-American Rejects - "Kids in the Street"
- Avenged Sevenfold - "So Far Away"
- Barenaked Ladies - "One Week"
- Blink-182 - "Always"
- Collective Soul - "Shine"
- Elton John - "I'm Still Standing"
- Fall Out Boy - "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More 'Touch Me'"
- Foster the People- "Pumped Up Kicks"
- Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe - "We Are Young"
- Great White - "Once Bitten Twice Shy"
- Kool & The Gang - "Jungle Boogie"
- Iron Maiden - "The Wicker Man"
- Living Colour - "Cult of Personality"
- My Chemical Romance - "Sing"
- P!nk - "Raise Your Glass"
- Quiet Riot - "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)"
- Shinedown - "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)"
- Rick Springfield - "Jessie's Girl"
- Tears for Fears - "Shout"
How relieved I was to see the likes of Queen, Soundgarden and Red Hot Chili Peppers make the setlist. I was beginning to feel quite old, or at least older than the current generation of music appeals to, but not old enough for my favorite music to be "classic" yet. After all, who announced Tears for Fears, Quiet Riot and Elton John early? Harmonix, you crazy, but it looks like you're covering all the bases here and that's a respectable thing to do.
Rock Band Blitz will run you a cold 1200 MSP on XBLA or $15.00 on PSN. It comes out on August 28 on PSN and the 29 via XBLA, and if the above 25 songs aren't to your interest keep in mind that almost the full Rock Band library is playable in Blitz. If you've got a collection of music already, then your Blitz experience is already impressively grander than what comes in the box... err, download.
