Rock Band Blitz, the PSN and XBLA musical arcade game, now has a release date -- August 17 and 18, for $14.99 and 1200 MSP respectively. This intense and surprisingly complex title may be well worth the price just due to its music library alone, though if you discount Harmonix's dedication to quality experiences, you'll be missing out. The current track list for Rock Band Blitz is up to 19, with the announcement of four new songs to be included in the game: "Jungle Boogie" by Kool and the Gang, "We are Young" by Fun, "Sing" by My Chemical Romance, and "So Far Away" by Avenged Sevenfold. I'd recommend just playing "Jungle Boogie" four times and you'll come out ahead. Other bands/artists in the game include Iron Maiden, P!nk, Fall Out Boy, Elton Jon, Blink 182, and Quiet Riot. Expect more news soon! Rock Band Blitz is a downloadable title coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, similar in style to classic Rock Band games except you play all of the instruments with a controller. 	Kinda looks like they're adding too many special effects and colors and stuff into it. Personally, I don't care about how the game looks, as long as it's still a GH or RB format and I can play songs with ease. This looks a bit more complicated than it should be...

	Oh..Why the bright colors. thats why i dont like rock band, my eyes are sensitve to bright colors.

	Scarecrow Ye, kind of. Where Unlplugged was designed more to just be Rock Band without the peripherals, Blitz is built from the ground up to be its own standalone, arcadey experience. It takes the basic visual style, the rolling notes and separated instruments ideas from Rock Band, but is really an entirely new premise. It's not a bout song completion more than scoring points and climbing leaderboards. Blitz is less of a sim, more of a game.

Honestly, alot of the games concentrate on visuals. I really could care less, as long as the gameplay is good, and smooth. I really dont care. Plus the whole thing looks like it throw me off...the visuals at least. Cant we just have a simple game, without it bursting with colors?! lol im not hating I mean, it might be a good thing making the game less dull. but really rb doesnt need to be a circus of colors.

	Rare, thats cause people want fast paced smooth gameplay with hd graphics. things have changed, and your just an oldschool gamer alot like me. I mean do i like this change, well yes and no. yes cause some games now a days are actually fun compared to the old first games. and no cause people want DLC, and online features and stuff. WE WANT ACTION and EXPLOSIONS WITH RAPID FLASHING LIGHTS. hey thats great, but i dont like those bright colors lmao XD. I hate being legally blind.
