Blitzball or cards - Page 7

Blitzball all the way, blitzball can be very fun, nad in FFX-2 its even more fun becousse you dont hae to wait arund as much. But anyhow, Blitzball is much more fun then ordinary card games.

Blitz. Much more original than cards. Cards were fun and all, but Blitz was much bigger and actually played a part in the game. Enjoyed it a lot more than Cards as well.

Blitzball.

Unless we're talking about FFX-2, then I'd take cards.

I never much liked Blitzball in FFX. I think it was a let down that the game was so mathematical. After the opening sequence I guess I was expecting something a little more... hands on.

Once I got into it though, it was much better. My only complaint is the fact that you did not get to pick and plan your prizes. It made getting Wakka's sigil much harder.

The card game in FFVIII was good. It was simple, the rules were straightforward and it was profitable. I know people who ended up with the Lionheart by the start of the second disc.

The card game in FFIX however, was a travesty. It was hard, irritating and far too random. When your card is over twice the strength of the one you are attacking, and you are attacking their weak spot, and they still win? Long story short, I lost a good control that way. Plus, you got nothing from the damn annoying game.

Overall, I'd have to say Blitzball, if only because it was consistant in it's play and value.

Card game for blitzball? If you mean like the cards in FF8 or FF9, you could easily make them on Photoshop. Paste the image (as it will take up most of the card), style it, and then add numbers.
