My excuse is i dont actually pay attention to what im doing till im in a fight so dodging lightnings hard for me.

Although we found this Lightning Dodge task just time consuming, not difficult at all, we are not strangers to throwing around the controller unfortunately... (Sometimes even threw away our friends' controllers! Oops!) So we can fully understand you and can't blame you. So... someone else, pls tell us & Pawnage to not do that again!! lol.

Anyway, it's really a "you have it or you don't" kind of thing. Both friends we played FF's with hated the one button type of tasks, (whether it's timing the pushing right or pushing as fast as possible,) while we excell at those. (Anyone knows the Will Flower game from a Mario Party game? It's similar, pure one-button-hit game... Or FF IX skipping rope? Got 1667 as our record there.) Hope that doesn't sound too arrogant? We'll quickly add that when there's an analog stick added to the game and it becomes a skill game, we're gone, really! Also shooters, when one has to aim fast, we're almost without a chance. Remains a character type thingy we guess, so most who have difficulties here on the Thunder Plains will do better elsewhere!

Nah, seriously, it takes a bit of determination and a lot of concentration, but you can do it we're sure! Have you tried turning off the sound yet? It helped us a great deal! Good luck!

The butterfly mini game is harder!
I catch about 4 blue butterflys then catch a red one!!
Still the thunder plains are quite hard.

I get Saturn Sigil for Kimahri today and I very happy but now I need to play this stupid minigames.If you really want to win the butterfly hunt minigames,you need to know where the blue and red butterfly is.Try this.....http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j205/1280295/FFX/Butterfly.jpg.I hope you can do it.It is not very hard if you get the hang of it.

About butterfly hunt...It take me 3 hours to do it....Its hard to get the hang of it...its not so hard,just annoying that I cant catch 7 blue butterfly in time plus the battle when I touch the red butterfly...
