the thing bout the cactuar stone. i think the stone needs to be lit up for it to work. if you watch carefully the stones light one at a time starting at the north end and going south.

Because of the megalixirs prize we had a go at the butterfly game before getting the airship. We were collecting those for Double AP and have bribed enough Xiphos (+the race, +dodging, +1 megalixir through Blitzball) to get Double AP on Lulu and Yuna... to realise some time later Earth Eater (with Triple OD-weapon drop) IS an easy pray while we understood it to be one of the harder MA monsters, definitely not for mediocre lvl chars... So now they have sorta wasted the double AP and the 10 Door to Tomorrows on the wrong weapon!
From hindsight, everything is easy! Next time we know we should first focus on getting Yuna around the Sphere Grid on the Calm Lands, so Bahamut can beat Earth Eater easily and we don't have to waste the DtT on infirior weapons. (Had many weapons n armour with 3 empty slots from the Bevelle Bridge levelling. Looked the best option for training weapons at the time...)

huh.. that funny cause i found the exact same sport like 6 weeks ago but i made one mistake. i never equiped a "no encounters" thingo. so it took me about 2 hours cause of all the battles and i ended up not getting the whole 200 cause something happened and the counter stopped at like 150 or something

Hiya Creator! Muting the tv is indeed a wise thing to do IOHO, but as for the focus spot, we always looked at bottom right of the screen, there the warning flash appears most clearly we think, and you have less trouble with distractions of far-away flashes.
However, not sure on the use of No-Encounters, I myself really found the battles to be comforting breaks from tense focus, but others have said No Encounter is handy.
Anyway, if you can dodge 16, there's no reason you can't get the 200! Good luck!! (Oh, go for 215, just in case you miscount, and if possible, get someone to count for you in silence. Niels kept the score on a scrappy paper while Erik was dodging away happily. Less to think of, less to distract the focus. Cause really, all it takes is focus.)

Of coure, we have also experienced the Zaps! right after a battle, and they are highly annoying, but it only happened when running around on the plains when battles were the main aim. When going for the 200 dodges, we don't move, except for right after a dodge. That way, you'll only start a battle also right after a dodge, so there's minimum chance of a flash following straight after a battle then. At least, it didn't happen to us when dodging.... 228 times if we remember correct.
So myeyespy can get a cookie we guess, hehe.

My dad did the thunderplains thing xD like he had a break between every 10-15 bolts n suchh~

he miscounted wrong once though and like checked in 3 short though :D

I went for like 1 hour in a place with two consecutive bolts and i was at like 190 and bam i got hit not paying attention and got cocky and then i threw the control and put a hole in my wall ....i was a little upset
