This creation is just as easily killed at low levels than it is at high levels. Make sure all 3 members of the frontline have Evade and Counter. This will make the regular attacks miss. Just keep hacking away at it (mix trio of 9999 if you're very weak and want to speed the battle up). When it starts to charge for Paean of the Heavens, make sure everyone has at least 50% HP and defend. This ensures everyone's survival. Keep hacking away still and the battle is all but won once it stops flying as it only does it regular attack which will miss due to Evade and Counter.

Aeon Fight

I Noticed there were no stratageys for the Aeon fight after you defeat BFA, so here's one

its quite simple, if your aeons are low hp like (10,000-) rikkus OD is useful

for the sisters, mix a Shining Gem and a Three Star for sunburst, hits around 11,000 each

for the others, double/triplecast or holy should do the trick

also mixing a Quatret of 9 (dark matter + three star) can be very useful as it makes one charatur hit 9999 repedietly, but needing to mix every battle, can be annoying neeing to get rikkus OD over and over

If your going to use Quartet of 9 then why not use a simpler (easier mix) like Dark Matter + Red Sphere (sans Fortune Sphere) or Lvl 1 Key Sphere + Underdog Secret

I don't see how that would count as a strategy.

Th'uban
HP: 3,000,000
Weakness: Doom - 255 turns

Party needs: Three characters Preferably over the HP limit but 9999 is fine with high defense. Someone who can deal MAJOR damage. Auto-Haste is useful because you don't have to worry about re-casting it. Auto-Pheonix is VERY useful to have on one or preferably two peoples equipment.

Note: this guide is for heavy hitters. Not meant for people who use trio of 9999.

Note: If you cast reflect on your characters, then reflect your own magic off them he will not counter every attack with condemn. Credits to Mace22


This can be a long, frustrating battle. It's best to have only people who can break the damage limit attack, because he counters every attack with condemn. Keep in mind condemn acts like a physical attack with dispel. You will need to get the rythm of his attacks. He does a physical attack on one character, then Rainbow (inflicts status ailments) on all characters, Uses white magic spell on self, then uses Convergeance. You will need to have someone ready to cure some of the ailments caused by the rainbow. Continue to attack with your strongest characters. Use Yuna, or whoever your healer is, to heal everyone after each Condemn. He will then cast protect, regen, shell, or something of the sort on himself. When he casts regen don't be alarmed if he regains large amounts of hp, quickly cast dispel to remove this (he has never re-casted it after I used dispel on him). Now he will use Convergeance on one player. Be sure to have casted Auto-Life on all your characters on the turn RIGHT BEFORE he attacks. He will kill this player because it hits 99,999 through 255 defense, magic defense. Just keep doing this over and over and he will eventually die. If your Wakka or Tidus has BDL on their weapon entrust that person with your overdrives so they can take enormous chunks of hp in one turn. Ex. If your Wakka hits 99,999, with a perfect attack reels he will do close to 1,200,000 damage.

If you Reflect magic off your own characters back at Th'uban, he won't counter with Condemn.

This is incorrect. You need to Reflect your own magic off your own characters to damage Th'uban and prevetn Condemn. Simply casing reflect on a character or your party won't prevent Condemn.

Fixed. Thank you again. I've never used that strategy.
