I am only setting up 2 links per guide for all guides submitted [ say for the battle against the Earth Eater there will be 2 made links ]. But this dose not stop you from submitting for that same battle because if i find yours better and more informing then the other guide made for that topic then i will use yours and get rid of that one. You can submit a guide for any part of the Final Fantasy X game [ Blitzball, Aeons anything like that ] and i will make space for it. You are aloud to DOUBLE POST in her under the circumstances that you are ONLY posting more then 1 guide. It is easier for me to read if they are separated from 1 post. If you comment on a post you can not then go forth and post again as that is not aloud. You gotta edit the last post And all other Forum Rules apply. 	tros: get ????(rikku)'s overdrive fully charged and get 2 grenades before you enter the battle. then after entering the battle, use her overdrive to mix the 2 grenades and the resulting attack(flash flood) will kill tros.

	sinspawn gui 2 hp:6000(body)1000(head)800(arms) party:yuna,seymour,auron you dont get a chance to prepare because its consecutive but you wouldnt need to anyway. seymour will probably go first so have him use an -ara spell to beat the head,and then have yuna use pray,auron attack,and seymour use -ara spells and youll win soon enough. if you want you can wait for it to charge seymours overdrive and use it when guis hp is below 2400. seymour makes this fight cake.

	seymour natus,motibody hp natus 36,000 mortibody 4,000 cast reflect on everyone and after that seymour will just hurt himself(or be immune to the attack) and so will mortibody until you knock seymours hp below 24,000. then mortibody will do small amounts on damage(around 300) and when you hit natus below 12,000 he'll hurt himself for around 2000 and mortibody will heal him around 1200. have lulu use her strongest spells and whoever has the highest strength attack him. you can steal tetra elementals from him if you want and if you dont mind sacrificing aeons then use their overdrives on him. shiva might be able to get more than 1 turn before banish, and if she has haste you could use it and have her attack him over and over,dismissing her on her last turn before seymour. or you could overdrive him on her last turn before him. either way he's cake.

It would be helpful if at least one of your characters has Break HP Limit, and It wouldn't go amiss if one had Break Damage Limit either. Equip Auto-Protect armor if you have it and also Defense Bonuses are extremely helpful in this battle. He uses Paean Of The Heavens every few turns, which can really screw you up at low levels, cause It takes 15/16ths of your parties HP levels, leaving you with one turn to heal everybody. Of course after losing 50% of his HP, Stratoavis will flop to the group and will no longer use Paean of the Heavens, he will just continuously use a weakened physical attack, which also tends to miss quite often. So, if you can get enough hits in (Quick Hits if you have it) you may not have to contend with Paean of the Heavens at all!! Incidentally Doom works, but it will take 200 turns for him to die.... boooooring!! Also, at high levels, if you manage to take more than 320,000HP off him on the first attack, he will not die but flop to the floor as usual, and he will have 1HP left. Make sure everyone is protected against Confuse, Petrification. Protection against Silence and Poison would make this battle a lot easier too. Malboro Menace has a very large amount of HP which makes finishing him off quickly very difficult. He always casts Putrid Breath at the start of the battle almost always with an ambush, meaning that you will usually start this battle with all manner of nasty status effects (unless you've managed to get your hands on the Ribbon ability (99xDark Matters)). Other wise, make sure you are packing a large amount of Remedies and Softs. His basic physical attack, Chow Time, does over 10,000 HP damage, which, at the time you first face him, will almost certainly be enough to kill a character. His Mega Gastric Juice attack, (apart from having possibly the most revolting name for an attack in FF history) is just as lethal, not only dealing out 6,000+ damage, but also inflicting Full Break on the party, crippling them. Also, this attack cannot be defended against with Protect or Shell. His Gastric Juice Blast attack, is something else to worry about. It, deals over 6,000 damage to the party, but it also has a 50% chance of inflicting Petrify on them. Malboro Menace loves to follow this attack up with Chow Time, disintegrating the Petrified character. That is, of course, if the original attack hasn't petrified the party ending the battle... He does have low defenses however, and If you can shake off the status effects long enough to get in some overdrives or summon aeons (particularly Anima with a fully charged Overdrive), you should win this battle. If a little uncomfortably... Also, Doom works on him, but it will take you 200 turns, and thats a LOT of status healing...

	~ Evrae Look at Gallantmon X's Strategy for stats. Right, start off with Rikku, and Tidus, and someone else. I'd recommend Kimahri if you want him to get AP, he doesn't feature anywhere else in this guide. Now have Tidus cast Slow on Evrae (try it a few times, it doesn't always work). Then have Tidus cast Haste on Rikku. Get her to tell Cid to pull back and switch Tidus and your other guy woth Wakka and Lulu. Have Lulu and Wakka constantly hitting him with spells(ara preferably) and balls(hopefully you've trained him up, if you have he'll do quite alot of damage). Their Overdrives will be useful as well. You should try to stay pulled back for as long as Cid has salvos. When he runs out, get Rikku to move back in and switch Lulu and Wakka for Tidus and Auron. Tidus should cast Haste on everyone, starting with himself, have Auron keep hitting him and use Power Break. Overdrives will, again, be useful. When Evrae "draws a breath", don't bother pulling back, just make sure Rikku will be alive to use Al Bhed Potions. And when it casts Haste on itself, have Tidus cast Slow on it again. And thanks to anyone who reads my first strategy!

	With kamari after filling, his part of the grid, Unlock, with a key sphere, and go threw tidus's, Then you have 2 warriors, AKA attacks, with Hastaga, to increase there speed, & cheer to increase you 3 players attack, then once you finishs tidus sphere grid you will learn QUICK HIT, witch with haste allows you to attack your oppent, 3 to 4 before he even has a turn, once you finishs tidus's grid with karamri, Karamri, will learn QUICK HIT, now you have 2 plays with hastaga, to increase speed, cheer to increase attack, & QUICK HIT, on 2 hard hitting caracters.

First off, cast Haste on Tidus and Cheer 5 times. You should have enough turns to do this and it'll use Sigh which isn't anything to worry about. Once you're set, target the tentacles to get them off your back. 2 hits for each wouldn't be that bad. Wait for Sinspawn to kill the two other characters. Once the two other characters are dead, switch weapons to charge your Overdrive gauge and heal when needed with items. It should take about 7 turns to fill up your OD gauge if you're using Loner. Once you've filled your gauge, use the OD as soon as possible. I suggest Spiral Cut first as it has the quickest recovery time among the 4. Keep switching weapons to charge your gauge. It's always better to switch weapons compared to just defending because 'Switch Armors/Weapons' ranks 1st among all other abilities in the CTB tick system. Anyway, keep on charging and unleashing OD's. Use Blitz Ace if and only if you have at least an extra turn before the Sinspawn which is very less likely to happen so I used it only once. Keep on using this and after 4 or 5 OD's, Geneaux should die and if you're lucky enough, the last OD would be critical for an OVERKILL.

Always defend before Oblitzerator's turn since it will unleash Blitzball Rush which isn't that deadly but it's better to be on the safe side. Once you're Overdrive gauge is full, unleash Blitz Ace and Defend or if you can't defend, no worries since Cheer would reduce the damage by 1/3. Switch weapons to fill up your gauge again and just repeat the process. I never used the crane here since I didn't use Lulu. It took me about 5-8 OD's to finish this off and with the sweet "OVERKILL" sign above it.

This isn't hard as other people think. I almost was able to push it off the cliff but it died at my last OD. Anyway, Start with Haste as always and Cheer 5 times. You'll need it since this guy has high defense. Wait for it to kill the other guys before starting to switch weapons. What I did was to defend as long as the 2 other characters are still alive. Once they're dead, switch weapons to fill your OD gauge and use Spiral Cut which would most likely deal 1,300 damage with Cheer. Eater will fall down and the next thing to do is to hit it hard. If you've managed to hit for 501+ damage, it'd move backwards. Once Eater, stands up, you should at least require 2-3 more turns for one more Overdrive. Use it and watch Eater fall down again and hit for 501+ again to push it. I never managed to push it because when I used Blitz Ace against it it died. Energy Rain and Blitz Ace deal the most damage against this guy so I suggest getting both beforehand.

	Tidus-Only Challenge Strategy for Boss: Sinspawn Gui HP: 12,000 MP: 30 Str.: 29 Def.: 1 Mag.: 20 MDef.: 30 Agi.: 10 Luck: 10 Eva.: 0 Acc.: 100 Sub Boss: Gui's Head HP: 4,000 MP: 200 Str.: 1 Def.: 1 Mag.: 1 MDef.: 1 Agi.: 15 Luck: 0 Eva.: 0 Acc.: 0 Sub Boss: Gui's Arms HP: 800 MP: 1 Str.: 1 Def.: 1 Mag.: 1 MDef.: 1 Agi.: 0 Luck: 0 Eva.: 0 Acc.: 0 Overdrive Needed: Spiral Cut, Slice and Dice, Energy Rain and Blitz Ace Overdrive Mode: Loner This fight is really easy as long as you've learned Lancet or any spell for that matter for Tidus. Enter this fight in Overdrive-ready state and use Cheer 5 times then quickly use Energy Rain to rid of the arms. My Tidus was already dealing 1,000+ damage against each enemy at this point so I suggest to train a bit. Once the arms are down, quickly hit the body with normal attacks and watch out for the head. Once the head starts moving suspiciously, use Lancet or any other spell which you might have learned. If you chose not to leave Tidus' grid, you'll have to take Venom which deals around 200-500 damage depending on your defensive capabilities plus Poison which isn't really that bad. Antidotes come in handy but Lancet is better. Heal when needed. Once he regens his arms, you should've attacked him enough or switched weapons/armors enough to fill your Overdrive gauge using Loner. There'll be a time when your OD fills and he still hasn't regenerated his arms. Don't wait for the arms, rather unleash Spiral Cut or even better Blitz Ace (if you have it already) on the body dealing massive damage. If you don't have full OD once the arms regen, fret not. Heal with items and just switch weapons/armors or defend to charge your gauge. Rinse and Repeat. He's really easy. Updates/Alt Strategy Suggestions By Mace22: Just a few notes. Loner takes EXACTLY 7 turns to full charge an Overdrive Gauge without Double/Triple Overdrive. Venom will Dispel Tidus's Haste, so you'll have to recast it. I don't recommend taking out the arms at all, because the damage for the normal punch attack will increase if one or both arms are missing. Also, I wouldn't even bother with regular attacks. This fight will take, at most, 4 Spiral Cuts, and the amount of damage you can deal with 20+ physical attacks won't even come close to comparing what a single Spiral Cut will do. Gui is armored (when his arms are present), so Tidus will literally be hitting for low double digit damage, but his Overdrives will bypass the Armored status. You might want to get a few Hi Potions from Luca in this challenge for fights like this. Instead of using regular attacks to charge Tidus's OD gauge, you should switch weapons/armor (you can even switch to what you've currently got equipped). Switching equipment is a Rank 1 action, as opposed to Attack being a Rank 3 action, so you can get in three turns by switching equipment instead of 1 turn attacking for a meaningless amount of damage. Also, if you got lucky in Kilika, you might have a Poison Ward armor, equip it to help out a little against Venom (it'll still have a 50% infliction rate, even with Poison Ward equipped). So, in short: ReCast Haste after every Venom. Cure Poison if afflicted. Switch equipment instead of Attacking. Use a Hi Potion if Tidus's Hp gets below 600. Oh, and I highly recommend that one never divert from a character's Sphere path in a Single Character Challenge. This means that anyone could learn Steal and Use for their challenge, making the game pathetically easy. This message was edited by Krunal(moderator) on Oct 10 2007.

	Tidus-Only Challenge Strategy for Boss: Extractor HP: 4000 MP: 10 Str.: 23 Def.: 1 Mag.: 15 MDef.: 1 Agi.: 15 Luck: 15 Eva.: 0 Acc.: 30 Overdrive Needed: Spiral Cut, Slice and Dice, Energy Rain and Blitz Ace Overdrive Mode: Loner This is a very easy fight to begin with. Just start out by casting Cheer 5 times. Don't worry about Depth Charges since Overdrives ignore Darkness. We will be killing Extractor using Overdrives rather than normal attacks. Once you've Cheered 5 times, heal if necessary. Unleash one Overdrive as soon as your gauge fills. A Blitz Ace and one Spiral Cut finished this battle for me but there is a very little chance you'll lose. If for some reason, after the 5th Overdrive, Extractor still lives, then you're seriously underlevelled. Take the hint and train after this battle for the upcoming bosses. Updates/Alt Strategy Suggestions By Mace22: A few things that can make this fight a touch easier. Equip Tidus with any kind of Water protection, Water Ward (proof if you got REALLY lucky in Besaid), or SOS NulTide (Workers in Luca). You'll also want to buy the Stunning Steel (Slowtouch) from O'aka in Luca. Extractor, along with many enemies early on in the game can be Slowed, and Slow is a ways down his Sphere Grid path. In any Tidus Only, you should always pick up the Stunning Steel (O'aka - Luca) and Sonic Steel (O'aka - Macalania). You also failed to mention casting Haste in this battle, which I can't believe. Haste is what makes a Tidus Only game ridiculously easy. Also, there are two ways to prevent Depth Charges. You can deal 500 damage to the Extractor after it has ascended to prevent Depth Charges, or you can use Provoke (if you use Provoke, its Aqua Shooters attack will increase in damage by 1.5 for the next two turns, then Provoke will wear off). If you hadnt noticed, this boss is a zombie(lol) and as such it hates regenerating spells and items: use a couple of phoenix down on him he's dead with an overkill. Don't open any of the locks during the fight as there are valuable items to be had along the way to the exit.
