Well actually, The Ronso Fangs is my strongest opponent..well, they're kinda in the tie with the Al Bhed Psyches.

My strongest player seemed to be Wedge for a time, but as his shooting level never went up I just replaced him with Brother. But the strongest blitzball player has to be Vishura from Besaid Village, who you can find in the right-bottom end house in the village.

On mine the Ronso Fangs are the worst team...Lol....

For playing blitzball just to get wakkas crap all u need is Brother as MF. his stats are so solid n average early on he will steal the ball n hes so dam fast he can plow straight for the goal n shoot in minimal time. the next steps boring but fast but after uve scored once and have the lead, just get brother the ball n run around the pool avoiding encounters (so timer is uninterrupted countdown), til time runs out. Due to his multitasking abilities of tackling n taking the ball away and shooting in rapid succession, its not a bad idea to take the ball from their midfielder n spam goals with him and watch his lvl skyrocket above all else. easy way of getting like... 15ish goals a game effortlessly.

at lvl 99 my favs are

-Forwards- TIDUS and LARBEIGHT or ISKEN: Love Larbeights shot, but Iskens shot is still very good at 81 and he has 99 endurance which almost makes him as good as plowing through to the goal as Tidus' Jecht Shots. some anti techs, a good shot tech and maybe even a good tackle tech if u use Larbeight since hes got 50 attack for a forward, adds some more strong defense assistance to the team. Dont neglect tackle slip 2!
-Midfielder- BROTHER: solid average stats n 99 speed. with elite defense n brawler n maybe an attack or pass tech and an anti tech or 2 hes a great ball carrier for ur forwards n can break up the defense marvelously with his speed and on top of all that his speed allows him to get back on defense with a quickness. elite defense n brawler on him makes him great for both sides of the field. Dont neglect tackle slip 2!
-Defenders- i love LINNA and ROPP: attack and block stats are solid, average speed, and pass stats both reaching 99 with nap pass 3.... just godly. brawler n elite defense n some anti techs so they dont get screwed. Linna also has a 92 base shot stat which allows her to use invisible shot and score from full court! fun as hell for a defender to throw some extra points on the board when she gets the ball! Tackle Slip 2 not too huge for these 2 due to their pass ratings but can be helpful in some scenarios.
-Goalie- NIMROOK: no competition. Super Goalie, use them tech finds n get his Anti venom 2, anti wither 2, and anti nap 2, and he is set. Grip Gloves makes a nice 5th, but in some cases i prefer golden arm so he has a better chance of getting the ball to ur forwards if theyre on the opposite side of the field, also itsa pain in the ass to learn volley shots if ur using grip gloves. always the last techs im trying to get for my team.....

DEFENSIVE STATS: attack, catch, and block, can range anywhere from .5 to 1.5 of their base stat. In your case having a 26 catch on nimrook, your catch can range anywhere from 13 to 39 when he is shot against. So, sometimes you can get the lower end of the stick and someone with a 14 shot or higher can potentially score against nimrook's 26 catch if you get unlucky and nimrook only gets a .5 multiplier to kick in. Super goalie technique will assist increasing this range for catch, and there are several techniques to assist increasing your attack range. Unforutunately there is no block techniques.

OFFENSIVE STATS: endurance, pass, and shot, on the other hand, are unaffected by this rule, these stats are as is, and are only affected by any bonuses a technique add to them. EG: a Tidus having a 20 shot versus your 26 shot Nimrook will be factored as follows. Tidus shot of 20, minus any range penalty, if any, depending on your distance from the goal VS. Nimrook's catch of 26 (13-39). Greater chance of Nimrook blocking the shot than failing, but Tidus does still have a chance of scoring.
