For example: I can make a story and say "one day I got out of bed and flew away into the sky." Thats fantasy. But if I proceed to explain why I had the ability to do so, thats science fiction. So in conclusion, Blitzball is the only thing that can be truely considered fantasy in the game. But you wouldn't notice the difference since you're an idiot. that wasn't my point, moron. my point was that they really weren't going for a realistic approach to a game like this.

I know what you meant, this is just a game and anything is possible in a game. But it was the only thing in the game that wasn't explained by science fictional logic. My reason for this thread wasn't merely to bash blitzball. I was hoping the title would catch some attention (which it has). And my main intention for this thread was to get some theories on how the game works. Maybe my first post was an unusual method of getting the ball rolling but nevertheless it was effective. Just hope I didn't piss the moderators off too much, heh. Some of you have some really good theories on what makes the game possible in Spira.

	Ok, before anyone notices my username, I love final fantasy x. Now, blitzball exsists(can't spell) in spira not earth, so we aren't aware of whether the players are human or not. Then, maybe the blitzball "arena" is full of liquid that creates an antigravity field. The ball itself has bumps on it, maybe those have some substance in them that allow the ball to act the way it does. Finally, it could just be common video game logic.
