Actually there is a chance to miss bevelle's little gag, If you didn't open the chest the seal won't appear when it is opened (Which i think is what activates it) then your screwed unless i'm proven wrong.

Bahamut
This aeon like valefor is a non-elemental aeon. It also knows all the black
magic’s like Valefor, but it also knows and the Thundega, Bilzzaga, Firega and
Watega, which is more strong, then the other two types. It costs 16 MP for the
Black magic’s. Its attacks are very strong and prove to be very useful against
all kinds of fiends. Bahamut can Exceed Max Damage automatically.
- Unique Attack: Impulse
Very good attack that hits all enemies with a powerful blast.
- Overdrive: - Mega Flare
Strong neutral type overdrive, just as strong as Ifrits’ Hellfire and Shiva’s
Diamond Dust.

To obtain this Aeon you must complete the cloister of trials first.

I will explain using the Letters and the Number:

1. Push the pedestal into place to ride the lift. You will appear at no. 1 on the map.
2. Go to A and take the Bevelle Sphere. Place the Bevelle Sphere at B.
3. Take the Bevelle Sphere from C and place it in the slot at F.
4. Take the Glyph Sphere from E and use it on the Glyph at G.
5. Take the Destruction Sphere from G and place it in the slot at E.
6. Go back to B and get the Bevelle Sphere.
7. Ride the lift, which was dead end just past D.
8. Grab the HP Sphere from the chest at the end of the lift ride.
9. Place the Bevelle Sphere at the slot at the end of the room.
10. Step on the switch next to the HP Sphere, and the pedestal will appear next
to you.
11. Push the Pedestal to the other Treasure chest, and place it on the slot. Get
the lance for Kimahri and then get to the Fayth.

The Numbers on the map represent places where you either start or fall. E.g. If
you fall at 2 you will start at 1 likewise, if you fall at 4 you will start at
3. There are arrows on the lift floor representing where you can go, press X at
the correct time to change directions.
