Favorite Final Fantasy Game - Page 4

I liked FF8.It was was my favourite for too many reasons to explain.I haven't played all of the FF games,but the ones I have played this one seems to be my favourite.

I've played FF4 I believe and that game wasn't too bad for it's time.

FF7 RULZ. It has the greatest storyline (The others completely changed at some point!), the coolest evil dude (Sephiroth!), the best battle and junction system (Although, it like in FF8 + 9 where they move after the command has been issued!). Another good thing is the Weapons, they are so hard at first (Although I can beat them with ease now!).

Listen here. There are only two games that are the best.

1.Final fantasy Tactics! I saw a preview for this on a demo disc and said hey this would look cool. I spent the first 30 minutes looking att the manuel for the game i never played and just bought... I was stuck on the second battle (magic city Gariland)because I didn't know how to use the R1 and L1 to switch charachters^_^ It took me along time and found out the toughest areas of all time.
1.Velius in Riovannes
2.Blake in the second to last battle
All in all I got ot blake (never beat him) after the Orbone Monastary. (never finished it yet know every place monster magic and summon by heart.) Know I am very close to the end with a new squad of characters.

2.Final Fantasy V (5 from anthology) I just started playing this 3 year old game about a week ago and now I am at the earth crystal on the first world. This is by most the easiest to understand job/Magic/weapons system in every game. It gives weapon/ summon background info (Shiva, Ifrit, Fire Ship, Karnack weapons etc...) and history of characters. Little hint. On the water crystal boss use toad on it (Garula) and beat it down.

Every other FF game i played is too easy or hard.
Example:
FF7: Beat in 15 hours. Plot to easy and so is Sephiroth! Didn't like very much on certain areas:|
FF8: Nevere beat after mastering everyone (Never got Doomtrain to beat Red giant in Ultemecia's castle) Ragnork and first two disc too easy! Ultemecia too hard!
FF9: Okay from what I saw but didn't rate high on my scale
FF6: By far one of the hardest games I have ever played (I've played some pretty hard ones ex:evil may cry) Rated high on my scale but not good enough for favorite's list.

Well, I've yet to play the FF10 game (it isn't out over in the U.K. just yet), but I think that will be the best, but from the three Final Fantasy games that I have played on the Playstation, I would say Final Fantasy VIII is the best for many reasons, the whole Junction idea is easy to understand, the card games are great, the GF's and their ability's are a good idea, it has a brill storyline etc. I loved that game and the only aspect of it I didn't complete was the Cards. FFVII was also a great agme for the storyline and the materia idea. FFIX was also good for the storyline mainly.

Well I won't import FF10, I'll pre-order it come Christmas and get it on the day of release, that is about the best I can do anyway, I hope it lives up to my expectations and becomes the best game of them all.

Well, apparently, the release date is March 2002.
It's already out in Japan, but it'll take a long time to translate and change the voices over to english, plus there are rumors that Square will add extras to the game. What they are, I don't know...

That is quite a long time i heard the US ver was out on the 26th of this month is that true?
