Plagiarism is when you copy material from other sources and claim it as your own. This must not be done, work must be original.

Contributing

If you want to help out with the Wiki but don't know where to start then follow these steps to produce a guide:

Either on a word processor or even a piece of paper write list of everything you need to write about. The guide should be split up into sections to make it easier to follow so a list is handy.

Always start with an introduction on the topic then move on to the basics. One example, for an Aeon its HP, stats and description before moving on into deetail.

Once the basics are covered, go into detail. Sometimes you will find you need to talk about covered in another guide. For this, write some brief details about it and then write See guide [[Example]] for more details. This is to be done at the bottom of that page.

Your guide will possibly need to contain some images.You can either take these images yourself and submit them with the guide or use a picture off the internet making sure you give credit to where it came from. If you can't get an image, or would like someone else to get a better one, put an image tag in place e.g. [[image:image_name.jpg]] and usually someone else will get it for you.

What i would suggest is get someone to make to character's page then under rikku's Overdrive make a link called Rikku Mixes, or something like that.

EDIT: Having just gone to create the character page, I noticed it had been deleted previously due to there already being a category. The characters are all in the Category Characters(FFX).

I find this a hard way to get to the characters, could we not delete the Characters (FFX) category, put them in characters and have a page for them thats easy to access?

I've added a boss monsters page, i was thinking that what most people use FAQ's etc. on FFX for is to find out how to beat bosses without spending ages training so i think we should include all the normal info. plus any strategies there are for all the storyline bosses.
EDIT: I'm currently adding all the storyline bosses names but info. i haven't got time to put in, anyone can feel welcome to do it.

Well, he still posts here on occasion and if that's true - no reason to believe otherwise - then either the community in general has taken a hit (and since I'm pretty good friends with some of the old Neo community - one of the few good things to having a GameFAQs account - I can believe this as well), or Krunal's just... not as good as he was but I've known stuff that would've been known here in this forums prime that most of the current regulars didn't know - as well as corrected a few things that most people here would swear blind as true. But, enough musings. I've ranted on this subject before, I don't wish to have to do it again.

Whilst there is that, some would argue that you can't do anything without a Neoseeker account. But, really, that doesn't matter at all. No-one without an account cares anyway.

Actually, you will find there is very little spam on most wikis, alot of the info on the final fantasy one at least comes from the neoportals and the info on them was quite well checked, also currently, its tiffabelle thats doing alot of the work as well as Kru, also, most spammers get IP banned seeing as there are very few members that spam, its mostly guests that neo doesn't care about.

Yup the Blank Page problem has been resolved more or less, and the Wiki is coming along great thanks to various members, and tifabelle especially.
