"widescreen"?

Change the settings of your TV. If its displayed in Widescreen, then you can change the zoom level on your TV to make the game appear without the black lines. Of course that also means that part of the left and right are cut, but that is essentially why you should play in Widescreen anyway.

You can always fix the settings either in the game, or on your own TV.

ok, its been quite abit since iv posted here, i have now tryed my game on 3 different Tv's (1 widescreen, 2 standard) and 2 different Ps2's.

its exactly the same on all of them, thick lines top and bottom, but ONLY on this game.

so i have a new question when YOU put ffx in your ps2 does it have these lines? (without changing the tv settings from what is normal for other games)

if you want to see what i mean by the lines, iv found a video, but since im typing on my Wii i cant copy and paste the link so to find it:

search youtube for "ffx" and the first vid should be "ffx - ending" watch it and look at the lines top and bottom.

Black lines or not a game is a game...damn my cell's screen is broken for like 2 months and I still haven't repaired it...

Oh, what type of TV do you use? I don't get any black lines on my LCD-HD, but I do on the frickin old ass TV in my bedroom <_<

I'd honestly never even noticed them before :/

Only stuff I've noticed anything like it on before, have been all my imports since they're different regions and stuff, so, yeah... I'm actually more used to seeing an NTSC picture on a PAL TV, than a PAL picture now <_<
