Aeons are worthless...

Unless you are over-training, then Auron is much more useful by the time you get him. My last use of Kimahri on most of my earlier files was in the Bikanel Desert where I would use Kimahri/Tidus, Rikku, and Auron.

I would say vast majority of people think Auron > Kimahri. I would also say, that a vast majority of people probably used Auron a hell of a lot more than Kimahri. I can't speak for everyone, but everyone I talk to feels that way.

I don't think you can say that his celestial allows him to deal the lowest. I am pretty sure he is the only character that deals more damage when he is weaker. In MOST hard battles you won't be at max hp the entire fight. Thus, making all the characters who have celestials that weaken with lower hp hit lower than Auron who is only getting stronger as his hp gets lower. Not to mention it only takes about 500 damage for my Auron to hit 99999 on anything regardless of whether the monster has piercing armor or high defense.

Yeah, I only have Tidus and Auron with 255 luck. I didn't know that 133 was all you needed at the time. I used turbo controller to farm earth eaters though anyway. My Yuna and Wakka have 208 and 186 luck. I just don't care as much about them as Auron and Tidus.

Yeah, Aeons become pretty worthless later on as they get less turns and it is a waste of huge amounts of good items to give them skills.

Yes, Seymour's mother offered to become an aeon so he could use it to defeat sin. However, it was not done through Yunalesca, and therefore, is not a true final aeon.

Yeah, for the second half of the game they don't serve much purpose besides being the official "meat shields" of your party. Also, some people still use their overdrives but that normally leads to extra turns for the boss or an immediate banish is some instances.

Well, those people probably don't have millions of gil to spend on Zanmato's. Unless they trained their Yojimbo's so much so that they can pay him like 100gil for a Zanmato.

They just become glorified meat shields after awhile.

Sure I loved all my aeons and they are really cool when you get them. However, by the time you get Anima and the Magus Sisters it is almost pointless.

Then you have to start sacrificing power spheres to gain hp boosts. A lot of power spheres for a fairly insignificant hp boost.
