Proof that Blitzball is fake.

The blitzballs in FFX look to be roughly 45 cm in diameter. That's a radius of 22.5 cm.

The volume is (4/3)pi(r)^3. So the volume of one blitzball is 47712.94 cm^3.

Observing the sport we can conclude that the blitzball is neutrally buoyant. So therefore, we can also conclude that the blitzball is the same density as water.

The density of water is 1g/cm^3 or .001 kg/cm^3

So the mass of the blitzball is 47.71294 kg.
The weight is 9.81(47.71294)= 468.06 N

Converting, that is equal to about 105 lbs.

Yet children toss it around like a toy, and the players can throw it the entire length of the sphere.

I think Cruxis Message just sums the whole thing up nicely. It's Fantasy, it's not meant to be real, if you still want to argue about it not being real, then honestly... your wasting your time, we know it's not real. If GameFAQ members need reassuring that they're not simply 'missing out' on an actual game, then I highly suggest they try to hold their breath under water for more than 5 minutes... you never know, may help get rid of some nutcases that are on their
