Clothing Of FFX

Auron's isn't very weird.

However, Tidus, Jecht, Wakka, Lulu, and many non-playable characters have odd outfits.

I would say Auron's, Yuna's, and Rikku's are all pretty normal.

Yeah, it's a wide range. Like Yuna's outfit is actually an outfit you could have found in Japan long ago. Rikku is wearing modern clothing like a turltleneck sweater. Auron is wearing a robe and a chest plate.

Then you have the weird different length shorts and circus outfits of blitzers.

Yuna's outfit is very roughly based off a kimono. You wouldn't find any Japanese wearing Yuna's clothing. XD
Same goes for Auron and Yojimbo's samurai outfits.

Rikku's is probably the only outfit that is remotely "normal".

As Mr Muffins said, the Blitzballers outfits (Wakka and Tidus included) look like circus outfits. They they just make any sense to me. Why wear something so oddly cut and bulky? Wouldn't they rather have something a little more hydrodynamic, so they can swim faster and not get pulled back by the water?

I suppose many FFX clothes could be considered weird. Most are brightly colored and elaborately designed, and they're certainly different than the FFVII-FFIX era clothing.
FFX is almost remniscient of the early FF outfits, which were also detailed and brightly colored.

Tidus: You can see his chest.
Tatts: He ain't wearing nothing at all.
Vilichia: I dont get it
Zev Ronso: Good I guess for a ronso.
