Help!! Mt. Gagazet bugged?

I don't know if I should replace the disc or if this is part of the game. But after you defeat the Sanctuary Keeper on Mt. Gagazet there's a short cut scene where Rikku says she's le tired and would like to rest. And Auron reveals he had doubts as a gaurdian when he reached this point. After that your given control and when you walk past a rock the camera pans around to an up close view. Here you can walk (slowly) but all actions are taken away, no menus, no map, can't run only walk, no pause. And as you walk up the path you pass Yuna, Sir Auron, and Lulu. Although you cannot talk with any of them. And when you reach as far as you can go there is nothing. It won't let you pass and it won't let you leave this narrow path the way you came, I reset the PS2 and attempted it again, and again, and again, and again. Anyone else have this issue?

i think i had the same problem...it mite be the disks i had a friend who had the game and it was fine so i got passed that part using his disk then kept playing so if u have acces to another disk i recommmend getting it

Yeah it's got to be the disc. Yuna doesn't drop anything, there's nothing on the ground next to her or anywhere in that area, I ran around every square inch of that narrow path hitting x the whole time. Yuna, Auron, or Lulu won't talk, they just stand there. Can't go forwards, can't go back. I'll see if I can return the disc for a replacement.
