Strange seeing a few of the FM guys here
I think it's the simulation and managing part of the games that attracted us... well... that's what attracted me to the game anyway. That, and building up a city from scratch, which to me is fascinating and fun.
So when does anyone think that they can get into the game and play it well enough, since I'm able to get in fine most of the time.
I'm going to be away for the weekend, so it really doesn't bother me if it doesn't work right now.
In all seriousness though, the servers were working fine this morning, but it seemed to mess up when the American's came on... no offence to any of them on the site.
We should perhaps wait until we know how many people want to be in on this before we make a decision on this AndyD_U. If we decide too early, we could be missing out on potentially more people than the region allows by going too small, but at the same time, if we go for a big region, we could potentially have a spaces open for when people might want to jump in anyway. It's a difficult one to go for really.
True there, but for all we know, sooner or later we may be finding ourselves having a flock of people coming in to try and play the game with us. There's also the consideration for those who are still suffering from not being able to log in to SimCity.
I hit 150,000 once, not even sure how I did it either really. I just waited patiently for everything to get done and expand really. Admittedly, I didn't use all of the space available, but this was my second city at least. Both of my cities so far have hit at least 110,000, if not 125,000. I'm not sure yet.
I also have someone else who is willing to join our region as well when we get started. I told him that I would let him know when we got started, if that was okay.
Something else that just come to mind, when we are in game, how will we interact with each other? I'm guessing the game and/or Origin allows us to do so?
I'm glad that you got in regardless really. I'm going to end my time for the day. I'll probably be on tomorrow. I made a Department of Utilities for all to know. Thanks.
