Medal of Honor fans will be happen to know that reserving Medal of Honor: Warfighter automatically bumps you up to the Limited Edition. That includes the just-announced "Zero Dark Thirty" DLC. Pretty typical of EA pre-orders these days.
The DLC brings with it two multiplayer maps based on the Zero Dark Thirty movie, an upcoming flick by The Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow about the manhunt for Osama Bin Laden. These specific maps are "Darra Gun Market," a Pakistani arms bazaar, and "Chitral," the tribal area of Pakistan that borders Afghanistan and China.
If you're not planning to pre-order, the same DLC will be priced at $9.99 and released on December 17 to coincide with the film's debut. Europeans will get the maps in the same week.
EA is also working on some charity work with Zero Dark Thirty distributor Sony. The two companies are planning to donate at least $1 million of proceeds from the film-game promotion. For every "Zero Dark Thirty" map pack sold, a buck will be donated.
