discussion How's your Join Avenue?

After going through Join Avenue yesterday, I realized how great the area was.
When I first read about it, I thought it was a multiplayer feature that I wasn't really going to be able to use. However, two shops have been opened up without any interaction with another game.

So far, I have a fitness shop and a café, both of which I've seen as pretty nice additions, even in their beginning stages.

I don't remember exactly what each shop gives me what atm, but I know that EV's can be boosted as well as happiness and a Pokémon's level.

Looking through Serebii, what each shop holds changes between either game, and more can be unlocked by interacting with other Unova games, including B/W.


So, how's your Join Avenue?

You can always just use the GTS for trading, and that gives you people for the join avenue too.
I have 6-7 shops i think. unfortunately two of them are cafes since i had no idea they would set up the same thing >_> plus idk how to fire them from the avenue.

A big problem i see is that i cant seem to use any of their services, and they don't refresh each day like i thought they would. I only got to use one shop so far, and hats it. he never restocks his items lol...

can someone explain to me what i have to do to make them restock?

It's also pretty awesome how people I've traded with on GTS have shown up with their Trainer's name! Traded with a Haruka from Tokyo and her npc on Join Avenue was like "How's my little Petilil that I traded you doing?" and I had stars in my eyes from that point. =D

no fair lol, how do you buy stuff from the shops? they are always out of stock for me!

thats true, but its been 3 days now and they always list as they are out of stock =[

I'll look into this further.

EVERY single one of my 7 shops. the only shop that i actually was able to buy something from was a treasure shop. i bought out both his items and then the next day he never restocked lol! and all my other shops list their items as out of stock. lame.

i'll check them again tomorrow. hopefully they fix their sub-par service >=[

rofl, i havent had any people say such things, mine all say lame things, but yes, you have one exciting avenue there
