Just got to Castelia City. (finally found that dunsparce)

My Azurill evolved right before the second gym battle, so it was able to get me my second gym badge with a sweep. three work ups then some aqua tails and a little healing made the battle a bit less challenging than the first gym. Still it was a fairly close match. I'm pretty sure snivy would have been OHKOd if marril failed at any point in the fight.

Currently looking around Castelia, and trying to catch stuff on route 4 (a Sandile and a Darumakka for the team).

Caught my darumaka (Neo), and i figure i'll catch the sandile once i beat the third gym and am on my way to Nimbasa city. sandile wont do much against Burgh anyway...but darumaka will!
Currently stuck in Castelia, trying to find a delcatty and drilbur for the pokedex. delcatty is proving to be a real pain D: Found 3 evees and a lilligant, but still no cat...
So many Audinos that my team is now way over-leveled for the gym...still Snivy needs the extra experience since its staying a snivy for a while. It just got leaf blade so its killing pretty much everything in sight.

yes, don't restart or go looking for a lower level eevee. there are no eevees Lv17 or lower. the lowest level you can get them at is Lv 18 in the Castelia park short grass.

On a personal note:
My drilbur evolved a bit earlier than i wanted to. I wanted to leave it a drilbur for the Nimbasa gym battle to make it more fair lol, but o well...
I found myself in a situation where a wild pinsir was going to kill my entire team if drilbur didn't do something (I was trying to catch the pinsir).
So now excadrill will have to troll the gym instead.

Yes I am still in Lostlorn Forest, trying to catch a pinsir and a whirlipede.

Now if only i could find that pinsir again and catch it. then theres that Cinccino outside of lostlorn forest; and for whirlipede i'm just going to evolve my venipede i think...way faster.

Beat Clay recently. It was fairly easy with my Marill and Snivy, though my Krokorok did lose to his excadrill
Then I beat the world tournament with Snivy, Darumaka, and Marill. Then helped out at the Plasma Frigade. Then got surf, and got scared by Cobalion yelling on route 6 >_< (I thought it was a Kyurem that was about to attack me or something, until i saw cobalion show up.)
After getting surf, I realized that now there are a few more pokes to get around the areas i visited. Still need to get Muk, buizel, floatzel, and Jellicent.

got to Mitralton city, and readying my team up for Skyla's gym.
I went through chargestone cave, emerging with 3 tynamos that i encountered and caught consecutively. that was pretty ridiculous. i also caught everything else that lives in the cave.

I got to thinking about replacing my marill, as much as i like him
But I want a tirtouga to replace him, and there is no easy way to get one right now I could try to get it via GTS but i wont be able to nickname it that way. darn. I may have to persevere with my marill.
Also thinking about adding klink to my team. never been a fan of the thing itself, but i really do like its theme of shifting gears and all that. plus i could use some electric moves on my team...

Also caught everything outside Mistralton city bar the cubchoo that appear only in the winter. bah. will likely just get one from the GTS (I offered my roserade, so i should net one).

Got into Undella Town today.
Beat Skyla's gym easily with my Serperior's help (finally evolved my snivy). I gave him light screen and reflect to protect his other team mates, and with its help they were able to beat the gym easily. I was worried about her swanna, but Krookodile took out both the swoobat and the swanna fast. then skarmory was downed my darumaka.

So many things to do and catch around undella, that i think i will just chill there for a while. at least until i get my spheal from the GTS (since its not winter) and evolve him to walrein.
Since my wailmer learned dive, I feel like taking a look at the relic ruins, and maybe getting some money from there.

Finally got into Opelucid city, catching a gligar on the way and evolving it to gliscor for the entry. same with lapras. got extremely lucky in finding and catching one.

Trained a few more pokemon to evolve them, got a few from the GTS. Also tried my hand at the download tournament they have on right now. some sort of doubles tourney...
First attempt I failed miserably. went up against hitmontop and zapdos leads. couldnt even touch them some how...needless to say i lost that tourney on the first round.
My second attempt was way better. this time the first trainer led with hitmontop and cresselia, and eventually i won with only my Krookodile remaining. Second round i also somehow won. Finals round i lost unfortunately. finals round trainer led with Thundurus and Landorus. the moment i saw that I knew that i was going to lose. killed thundurus somehow, then killed a cloister, but the hitmontop (does every trainer in that tourney use the damn thing?) and the Landorus got me in the end.
You get a red shard for participating...wooo =/

My darumaka is Lv 93 now, woot! And thats still me being at my 7th gym. Should i let it evolve before hitting Lv100? or should i keep it a darumaka? also is there any way to subtract a Lv from a pokemon? (never seen the option to do this up until Join Avenue appeared. maybe some shop can do it?)

I like darumaka more than darmanitan, so i may just let it reach Lv 100 w/o evolving...
but then will i regret it?

haha, but Neo is so much more cool-looking in his unevolved form! but you may have a good point for post game. white treehollow might be too much for an unevolved pokemon to handle...and darumaka is my main fire type. I'll take my time deciding. he still has 7 more levels until Lv100 and the point of no return lol. Why he could probably defeat the elite four on his own right now

Evolved some more things. Training my larvesta now to evolve it.(this will take a while .__. )
my team is now all Lv 60 except for darumaka who is still Lv93 .
I got Virizion from the GTS as expected, but now the problem seems to be that noone wants it as a trade for Cobalion. probably because its name is Vizor ._.

O and since Ozzy just learned outrage, he's going to absolutely troll Drayden's gym. i wont even need my two other team members for the battle.

caught up on my dex (at 239 owned and seen at that point in the game), and easily earned my 7th badge! I just had serperior use screens to protect my other pokes, and sent out krookodile to outrage everything on Drayden's team. cake.

Now I'm in Himalau city, which added a few more habitat lists for me to fill and a few more new pokes that i dont have yet. working on those.

The fact that i got off school for the whole week because of our hurricane here gave me some opportunity to start doing other stuff in the game that i normally planned for post elite 4.

So my recent progress includes:
Pausing at my 8th gym to finish habitat lists and get caught up with my dex again. Just missing Bouffalant right now, but should get one from the GTS by tomorrow (either that or ill catch one after the giant chasm business). I've finished all my habitat lists up to this point. just giant chasm remains, which i can't access yet because i'm blocked by plasma...

Been working on some of the movies. some have been a bit entertaining, some have been a waste of time (boo).

My team is still at 5 pokes. every time i think of a 6th to add that i really like, it winds up being either weak or even 4x weak to my fighting weakness, or neutral in the case of the flying type bravairy that i wanted to add =\ I would like a resistance to fighting, but I hate both of the most resistant pokes i can get: sigiliph and swoobat. ugh. Been thinking of metagross from the chasm, but that one's also neutral to fighting...

Also i think it was you CT, who recommended using a headset for this game. I have to say it does make the game more enjoyable. I found my PSP headset that i havent used for anything for the past 6 years maybe, and tried it on my DS and my current PSP, and it does enhance the sounds you hear dramatically. i really like it

wow i'd keep that one, unless you have some sort of method that makes things go faster. otherwise you'll be doing that resetting and catching deal forever x_x it probably takes 20 mins to catch one?

I am about to take on the elite four. since the champ uses 6 pokemon, i decided to get me a 6th as well. Will likely go with my Brave bravairy lol.

i have finished all of my habitat lists up to this point, including twist mountain which i couldnt even access yet, but the GTS helps with that. i have something around 268 out of 270 pokes seen. missing zekrom and reshiram (somehow grabbed a kyurem early from the GTS).

Time for some training for bravairy (and i need a nickname for him), and then its on to becoming champion.

got zekrom and reshiram from the GTS finally! looks like cinccino is a popular pokemon since that's what i offered both times.
so thats 270 owned out of 270 unova seen. now just 30 more lol.

Is there some reference to Marven that i am not getting? i dont even know who that is lol?

Whats the deal with the Nimbasa city ferris wheel people? they're either sweating like race horses or having babies and things...I wonder what the winter and spring people will say? Maybe the winter person is going to be sick and will be sneezing all over you while the spring person has allergies or some nonsense. Nintendo made all of these awkward on purpose right? it just continues all year round with different scenarios lol?

got that tropius and completed the unova dex. got the permit and the oval charm.
EV trained my krookodile and darumaka via join avenue, and am currently working on braviary.
EDIT: finished braviary, working on excadrill.

although I'll probably work a bit on the national dex, i don't really see how i will be able to complete it before the next gen of pokemon games releases lol. it will take forever.

And i'm still trying to explore around route 17 and 18 and find that plasma frigade.

downloaded the Master Tournament and actually beat it. looks like EV training does help. I used Serperior, Krookodile, Excadrill and Braviary for the tourney. its another doubles tourney -__-

I have recently bred a lot of synchronizing pokes (elgyem) for different natures to help with legend captures and ditto captures in the future. Caught a Jolly ditto(among others) and I am currently prepared to breed it with a metagross until i get a shiny beludum
might take forever though.
